Well, there's no unedited evidence to back up your accusations! He also did the right thing and wished him a well recovery!

Do you actually know what caused Tommy’s injury? are you % sure that there is no link between the pitch and the injury, I’ve not seen anything anywhere saying categorically that the pitch played no part in the injury, so to suggest otherwise without substantiation is purely provocation and you sir are nothing but a troll

I wouldnt know but from what hes tweeted since he had put an end to it. Probably been told by the managment to put it to bed as its taken the focus off our win and your comeback to the super league.

On thread drift:
[quote="tb":24qn1m99]Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.[/quote:24qn1m99]
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
[i:24qn1m99]There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back![/i:24qn1m99]

It was not the pitch. Tommy Coyle himself has said so. people who were there has said so. These injuries happen on turf too.
I am not a troll. Check my posts. I never troll on any of these forums. I am generally a reasonable chap, who will argue my point fairly.
If you think RM's twitter post was acceptable, then that says more about you than me. RM clearly new that he'd made an error, and that's why he deleted it. It's pity that some on here are so biased they cannot accept it in the same fashion.

for once we are in complete agreement. i've said it on here many times that it's a pr disaster waiting to happen. mathers is one of the more lucid and bright players from what i'm led to believe, just wait until ben cockayne or one of the others that is prone to brain farts draws attention to themselves with their twitter feeds.
leave it well alone would be my stance.

weird that because i didn't see the killer comment and i saw it as soon as it was written! and mathers wasn't the only player to be complaining about it

You're wasting your time - it seems clear that the Widnes contingent are operating a North Korean style media black-out on all things anti-ipitch; denying the presence of nasty carpet burns, calling professional rugby league players who mention it 'soft' and erasing/forging Twitter comments.
In fact, has anyone seen Mathers since the game? I'm sure I saw a couple of b&w clad blokes bundling someone into the back of a Stobart trailer outside BV on Saturday morning...

| i find the defence that it was because of the ice/cold that burns were experienced odd. surely if it wasn't fit to play becasue of the ice then the game shouldn't have taken place?
feel for the ref in this, because he will have not known whether it was safe or not with the ice/frost, and had to take a guess that it was - under implied pressure from rfl/sky to get the game on.

| You'd call a game off due to posdibilty of a few grazed elbows? This is rugby right?
The Salford vs Cas game was something else as the damage done was worse and game play also effected.

| TBH the Salford/Cas should never have played. And just because Mathers didn't like the ipitch doesn't make him "soft" - I wonder how many will say it to his face and the others who didn't like it as well e.g Fox?

Did you also know that Steve O'Connor once played a round of golf on the i-pitch and scored 17 holes in one? He only missed the 18th as he was momentarily distracted by a group of players applauding him wildly as they exfoliated their skin on the lovely, soft surface.
