| Great win and the opposite of what I predicted (30-6 to the reds!)
One or two things spring up, where the hell has Hood been all season? he was superb yesterday!
Same with Atoni - the guy was running with purpose -in fact the whole team look a lot more confident and ABLE to play RL
the Dagger/Gale pairing seems to work - worth pursuing again I think!
It's surely no coincidence that all this has come with the arrival of Dave and the inclusion of Luke Gale - and what a masterstoke his signing has been - better late than never-should have had him at the start of the season.
IF we beat Wigan and it's a big IF I might start getting optimistic but for now at least, enjoying seeing some effort.

| Enjoyed the win but I reckon we need another 6 wins to stay up, tough ask even accounting for the upturn in form.

Think the reason we are moving the ball better is down to Gale coming to the club .Was impressed with the way he was barking out the orders from the first minutes of the match and did not stop .Pity we got him at the very end of is career .You could see why Castleford went so well when he was in is prime .As not change my mind about going down ,It took15 games to start playing any thing like rugby ,against Leeds, Beat Wigan and Huddersfield, and I could change my mind ,but at present think it is too little to late ,and shows what bad decision were were made by the club on recruitment ,at the beginning of the season

The outgoing owner appointed him but didn’t back him, our incoming owner didn’t appoint him but is seemingly backing him.
Next month or so is huge. Let’s get behind him and review in 5/6 weeks time.'"
Absolutely not. He's the reason we have only won around 10% of the games this season and why we are languishing at the bottom of the table still four points adrift.

| Well done lads a great team effort. Nearly passed out in shock when we created an overlap for the winger to score. I wish we could have done that when TJ or Murphy were playing

Lol. I see what I did now.
I of course meant Franco.
Though to be honest, Hugo looks like he can shift too.

| It was clear to see what we had missed all season until Fifita and Gale arrived and that is leaders. Whilst I appreciate what Ashurst/Pitts etc do they are not vocal enough nor the personalities to be captains. Proctor albeit very experienced doesn't know the club and may not give the influence hoped. Fifita understands the club and has the personality to bring the best out (Probably helping Atoni with confidence too) and the way Gale shows and tells where to set up has made a huge difference and begs the question of what if had we brought Gale in in preseason as much as people disliked the idea.
Here's hoping things continue with the main focus on trying to win as many home games as possible now we have 2 in a row

| A good performance all round.
Even the usual suspects who have, in the past, been criticised, and rightly so, all stood up and played their part.
My son mentioned after the game, that given the way Huddersfield are struggling, that if we were to turn them over in 2 weeks, then they could easily get sucked in.
That's confidence, I told him to take it one game at a time

| Superb effort from the boys last night.
Salford had a few bodies missing but, we pretty much dominated for the full 80 minutes.
Fifita was superb but, Battye certainly put a shift in and Atoni actually looks like a SL prop now. Fifita seems to have brought out the best in him and long may it continue.
Gale was immense but, there has to be a big shout out for Dagger.
Many, including myself, were horrified when we swapped Hall for Dagger but, I actually think that we may have done some shrewd business.
The lad has played in most positions in our backs in the last couple of months and he's been good in all of them.
If we can beat Cas at home, its game on for survival, something that looked impossible a few weeks ago.
Shudds away looks like being a huge game for us

| A much needed win off the back of a good performance, Salford were missing some quality but we can only do the job asked of us and we did it well

| Excellent performance from 1-17....even the much maligned players stood up and all of them put in a good shift including Hood (his best game for us so far IMO), Lineham and Lyne too, but can I say a huge thank you to Saints for loaning us Alex Walmsley for the evening but despite Trin's best efforts at hiding him in Atoni's shirt we could still see it was him from the way he played
The guy was outstanding.....Have we found the new Tanginoa ??

We almost got over a few more times and made a few breaks down field. The performance was pretty good and it was an entertaining game until Fifita got sent then it kind of petered out.

| Great to see that most of the tries were created some distance from the line and not the usual forward barging over the line from the 10m line. Some great breaks during the game and Max Jowitt showing just what a class full back he is. Hood's best game since the trouncing of Cas last season. The addition of Dagger, Gale and the return of Big Dave have been really inspirational moves. There seemed to be an air of "We're all in this together lads". There may still be a glimmer of hope.
