| You’ve got to invest in your Academy and do it long term if you want to fill your team with home grown products
We don’t!

| Th other thing is what youngster would want to spend longer than they have too at a club with no plans for future expansion, no ambition and little or no investment.
You can bring youngsters through all you want but they will not stay at a backward club

| Problem is that at this stage last year and now again we look nailed on for relegation. We could promise both old and young players the earth but I guess a guaranteed Super League contract on the table, with a deadline to commit to, is impossible to turn down. They don't even need to offer more money.

Indeed. We are probably rebuilding the whole team next year no matter which league we are in.

| Quote: Wollo-Wollo-Wollo-Wayoo "Correct me if I'm wrong but Rovers have only two players in their whole 1st team squad who have come through their system. Lewis and Fishwick.
They did have Will Tate who was released to Castleford once they got Corey Hall and Connor Barley who is now on a season long loan to York I believe.
If you were including Litten he started off at Hull FC.'"
I think Jez Litten was actually part of the City Of Hull academy when the two Hull clubs merged their academies for a short period of time
He, and his cousin that is on Hull FC's books, are actually both East Hull lads

Who's this then?
In 2017 he made his Super League début for Hull FC against the Warrington Wolves.
In October 2017 Litten agreed to join Doncaster on loan for the 2018 season.
On 22 April, 2019 Litten scored his first Betfred Super League try in his sides 62–16 loss againstSt Helens.
On 29 July, Litten joined rivals Hull Kingston Rovers from Hull F.C.

| If they don't have squad numbers they are not in the super league squad.
So what have they been promoted to?
