Think C will have plenty of options, just a matter of the right fit.

Whoever gets the top job I really hope they crack the whip and get this lot ship shape and battle hardened so we can see the benefits next season . For far too long now we have been an easy touch both on and off the field with Chester’s downfall being aided and abetted by the very people he got too pally with and who now should hang their heads . If only half the rumours are true about the on/off field antic of some of the players are to be believed then I think we certainly need a coach who can install discipline and take no bull .It’s ok people saying Chris was a nice guy but in the end that mr nice guy was sold down the river .

It's such a delicate balance though.

We are not an attractive club for players. They won't win anything. They'll play and train in poor facilities. May well be relegation stresses, making it hard for the players to plan in the long-term for their finances. If we make it a tough gig too, players will want to leave. Crack the whip at Wigan, fine, because the players know it might take them to a Grand Final. Crack the whip at Wakey and it might just take you three places higher up the table.

It's that balance between off-field happiness and on-field performance. Very tricky. Danny Ward managed it at London, but then again it became it bit of an adventure for them so easier to pull it off for one year.

Can’t say I’ve heard any such rumours, c’mon spill the beans, no need to name names, tell us all these rumours.

I Don’t for one minute slugger think that coaching an average bunch of players to perform to a high standard On a regular basis is a walk-in the park ,but I do feel some players who I shall not name have become very comfortable at the club and need a wake up call ,how you can expect the rest to bust a gut when these players Get away with murder on and off the field . Been told more than once that Westerman gives fifita some stick for his let’s say lacklustre training efforts . Yes it’s a fine balance and one that hopefully the right chap will be up for the challenge, but I do feel there is a lot more improvement on the field than we are seeing at present . Have said many times I can take losses every week if I feel the players have put a shift in ,unfortunately that wasn’t the case last week and it isn’t an isolated incident .

I don't think you can conclude there are off field problems from just viewing the performance on the field as a fan.
People will always do it but they don't get the right answers.

The very fact that when Westerman started we had absolute gospel truth that Westerman was down the pub all the time slagging off his team mates and saying he wasn't bothered about being here,
Yet now he is seen as the white Knight badgering Fifita for not training hard enough and its other players with issues.

It will always be so and rarely the whole story.

Hope not personally, belittled his home town, only got success through inheriting a good Leeds side but his arrogance when he was a Toronto put me off totally but then so did Brian Clough when he joined Leeds so I'm willing to be proven wrong.

I bet you're not hearing it from the club.

My understanding is that there will be an interview process, not choice based on chip shop gossip

I feel the same, I know quite a few whinos and none had a good word to say about him, even when they won the last GF they were just waiting for the wheels to come off which they did.

However a change was needed so if indeed it is Bri Mac, he starts with a clean slate. JK for me though!

But then kear who said he wanted to lead us to the promised land Newmarket his words couldn't wait to leave us to get his dream job at catalans, thing is his one of the best motivationists and that's what you need for our team as they don't seem to believe in them selves

That’s not how I remember it. The club was in free fall at the time, all he asked was permission to speak to them. This was denied without a compensation clause.

You may wish to denounce him but frankly I think it stunk. The club was going under and JK would have been out of a job anyway. Yet despite all he’d done for the club the management at the time couldn’t resist trying to squeeze a few more quid out of the bloke.

Contrast the to CC treatment and I know who got the better deal and why the other may feel aggrieved. I’d be amazed if JK came back, I wouldn’t if I were him, but strangers things have happened.

Imo Kear did more for Trinity than Trinity did for him, I honestly don’t see why he should trouble himself further.

Finally you playing the loyalty card is quite laughable. You’ve been threatening us for years now that you’re no longer going to support the team because you’re sick to death of it. Well if it’s ok for you then it was ok for Kear.

A bit unfair on Kear here Snowie, It was the French owner what asked to speak to the club about Kear, the only reason he did not go was down to Ted asking for more compensation that Bernard DooDar was willing to pay, there's no doubt Kear would have gone in his position who wouldn't but to say he tried to engineer a move to Catalans is so wrong.
