New Wakefield football club are playing at Pontefract Colls next season and then hoping to move into a redeveloped Belle Vue in the future; could be a source of funds/grants to develop the ground. But we all know where the funds should be coming from!

Interestingly it's a reformed Wakefield FC and not Wakefield United

And its owned by Sir Rodney.

Great news for the club.

The hard work has probably only just begun.

Think it would make sense for the football club coming on board with us, and aren't they going professional.

Wonder why east stand priority, when west terrace is just a mess ?

Could they be combining hospitality boxes into the stand?

Would imagine it would be the focal point of the stadium, like said your main hospitality, changing rooms etc

The east side of the Stadium is the 'shop window' for the club and plenty of readily available space to add all the key facilities, changing rooms, medical, offices, seated and box viewing. South and west you can't move much from the existing footprint but the north also has scope for additional facilities to enhance the new stadium.

In reality there are many options moving the east stand back allowing the pitch to be moved also opening space on the west, a complete turn round with the pitch running east to west but I pretty MC and his colleagues have a plan now that they're in the starting blocks.
