Right, I must have misread your previous post, sorry for that.

Is there a picture of Peter Box with a cat on his knee, Bond-villain style? That kind of secret?

| I am not too far away from Belle Vue, so I would also rather we re developed Belle Vue and stayed put.
Also, I liked the idea what was mentioned earlier, regarding developing the athletics track and surrounding area at Thornes Park. This, i think would be a good area.
As for the earlier comments too, regarding moving to Owl Lane, what are the facilities like at Ossett United and its capacity. I was reading the other day, that their last home game saw the second highest attendance in non league football. If their profile continues to grow, coupled up with say, promotion, could they soon out grow their current facilities.
If they do, can we realistically see 2 new ground developments this side of Heath Common. I can't see it, personally.
Could there be the potential moving forward, with a ground share with Ossett United

That's just depressing.
Does this mean that we are actually no further forward than when the plans for Newmarket were passed ?

Sorry Wren, I'm not sure about any of that. I just meant that we don't have a landlord who seems to change his mind weekly and we could re-develop "The Jungle" as plan B. No idea where the money would come from though.

Whilst you would have to agree that negotiations shouldn't take place in public, it just sounds like a smokescreen. Maybe councilor Ahmed ? should have asked who the parties involved are as it doesn't appear to be THE Trust.
IF Rodders is in any way involved, he really ought to let people know as, again, it appears that he is just another "tree" for Mr Box to hide behind.

| Time to put Box on the back foot.
He is very specific who he is dealing with and extremely vague in any discussion with either Wakefield Trinity or our Trust.
Councillor Ahmed is correct in challenging How Many Years.
Why are we not backing him and allowing Box to wriggle.
I have utter contempt for the man and I am Labour through and through.
We should be getting the press behind this instead of pussy footing about.

| At least Councillor Ahmed seems to be having a go - we could just do with a little more pushing by other politicians!

| I suppose it's expected but Wakefield Express aren't doing a very job on the reporting of this, not sure if it's just lazy journalism but it's quite misleading to people who aren't following this closely. Latest article reads as though Box is in talks with the club when the latest tweets from the trust say they haven't heard from him in months, not to mention Box never specifically said he was talking with the club in the quote they're referring to. Secondly, they refer to Yorkcourt as the land owners but no mention of how they acquired the green belt land in the first place. Another thing - it's always referred to as the Wakefield Trinity stadium, not community stadium.
Call me pedantic but there's still alot of people under the impression Wakey are after a stadium at the expense of the tax payer and this kind of article is exactly why.

| I’ve seen Box quote that he is in talks with the club (not the trust) a couple of times recently. Perhaps for clarity MC could confirm whether this is actually the case or not as there hasn’t been any denial from him as yet?
