| Me and my lads are fed up of the whole thing, My family have been Trinity fans since before I can remember, just get it sorted, if you cant say you cant and we will have to look elsewhere. I appreciate all the work that people have put in but its a farce now

The plan has always been, that various businesses are run to provide the resource to compete properly.
Then suddenly certain parties realise there is money to be made and get greedy again.
This stadium was promised, and should have been fully funded with no strings attached. They will make a fortune from the green belt land anyway!!
There's a real simple answer for those that want all the profit.... buy the club'"
Take your point completely Daddycool. There are far too many greedy businessmen in the world today who would screw their best friends and own family for a buck ( are you listening Rodney?). It was like a breath of fresh air when yourself and Chris came on the scene and saved our beloved club. To see a couple of businessmen with integrity was a rarity. Please don't give up on the club now. Keep fighting your corner. I have put sixty years of support into this great club of ours and for what reward to myself; ten good years in the Sixties and little else since, but I'm going to persevere and hope that the good days will come around again under your leadership.

| I'm fully behind you MC, wouldn't give them the time of day nevermind further planning benefits as well as a slice of pie, surely RW has had enough pie to last him a lifetime. Wonder how he's enjoying that holiday home he bought from his buddy.

| I agree, the current owners have done more for this club than I can remember anybody doing, I love this club and the city and like all on here want the council and private companies involved to be true to their word and deliver. I know its an obvious thing to say but the council should be doing what the people want

| Hereś my plan.
Council borrow 10 million and ill Pay them back more then the interest costs them.
With the 2 million already pledged, build stadium for 12 million. That takes the immediate pressure off.
Then hound those that should have paid, for every last single penny.

The fact that you've even considered that as a plan is a measure of desperation there is rolled up in this diabolical mess.
The Council is the leverage though, its on their watch.
What happens to that green brown belt land when the developer feigns going bust and winds itself up

Surely the council loaning the club £10 million is a complete non-starter? I can't see any way they'd agree to that, plus you'd have both Cas and Fev apoplectic with rage if we were given a loan like that from the council.

They would be loaning the money to a community trust, I presume? One set up to provide sporting facilities that this district badly needs, it's a win, win and box can come up smelling of roses again ... I wish they would go out on a limb for this like they do for the Hepworth, YSP, Sun lane baths, Trinity Walk etc etc all would not be here if it wasn't for the council going the extra mile...

IT must be bloody annoying, to put it politely. I've not spoken to anyone who doesn't back you in this.
Interesting that Box is now having a go at the developer, why now? Skeletons and closets?
Oh and he says the £2m back on the table!
Will there ever be a solution?
