| Quote: lampyboy "It's great to have a couple of genuine prospects on the team sheet who could be seen in the red white and blue for some time to come . I just think we should lay off a little and let them develop at their own speed. they both have talent enthusiasm and club spirit to burn . It's all pointing to a successful career but all it takes is a drop in form a stinker of a game and things can change . It's not a regular thing at our club and ever the most successful clubs have on occasions lost a youn talent due to demands and raising expectations . It was interesting that someone suggested [iJohnstone playing in the centre , I think that would be an excellent idea maybe with a season on two under his wing [/i.'"
I'd leave him on the wing, he's got blistering pace and can beat a man, is strong and will get stronger. Same attributes as Martin Offiah and he didn't do too badly playing on the wing.
Tom has shown he can make tries for himself from 'nothing' so just imagine what he could do with a centre of the calibre of Gidley or Lyon (to name just two) inside him. Both of those two made Gardener a hatful of tries and I reckon Tom is far better than he was. I'd ask MC to save his pocket money for a few weeks and try to get in a top class centre.

| I would be interested to see a back line of Crowther, Johnstone, BJB, Hall & Lynn because they have both skill and pace.

| No fear and a lot of confidence and belief. When he sees an opportunity he just goes for it believing he'll succeed which is just what you want from a wingman. Max Jowitt is now in the same mould.

| Another brilliant game from Tom. I really hope we can hold onto Tom, Max, Jordan & our other young guns. We have to hold on to them and stop being the club that sells all our talents to the highest bidders. These players = better gates & higher table position and therefore a club in a better financial position. For Wakefield Trinity to ever re live our glory years we have to stop loosing our most talented players to the so called bigger clubs. Don't your weekends feel so much sweeter for the win.

| Great performance again from TJ; and it's no surprise to see Reece Lyne hot-stepping his way over either - young lads with drive and ambition inspire more experienced players to up their game. If we can avoid any bad news or disasters for the coming weeks, this could be the most significant change in culture at the club in many a year.

| Hat trick for TJ and MOM for MJ just as it should have been..MJ was immense under those high balls that Salford kept aiming at him.

| I thought Johnstone was magnificent, such confidence from a young man and every try well taken. Of the others they all played a part, the game management second half when we were under the cosh was superb. When they were only 4 behind on 67 minutes I thought we might get undone but credit to them all for their scrambling defence and putting the game to bed at the end with 2 more well taken tries. At last we're looking like a team and everyone is working hard, big raps to all 17 today and for Chris Chester's continued game planning.
