| Thought some of your young players put some effort in today, the tall blond lad at left centre looked decent as did the half back, Siejka ??
To be fair there were 2 poor sides on show today, don't think we ever got out of 1st gear but never looked like losing, some of your players looked half ar$ed at times and clearly Agar is no motivating them to be better.

Agar really does not know his best pivots? Surely the game v St.Helens at home tells him Mathers at 1, Sammut 6, Godinet 7, Mcshane at 9 with Tautai at 13? Siejka/Wildie bench hooker/utility. We need an additional prop playing at loose forward who is a handful like Tautai/Moore to help us with real go forward. Washbrook is not good enough at present IMHO.
Not sure all Sammut's efforts in defence take away some of his energy to create at fullback?
wakefieldwildcats.co.uk/news/aga ... y/2014/04/?
“It’s been hard for us to know what our best 1, 6, 7, 9 combination has been because we’ve playing with such a limited amount of football. It gives him (Sammut) the opportunity to get on more plays with us and it gives him the freedom in attack to use his great attributes which are his speed and anticipation.
“It takes away a little of the ball playing responsibilities for him. It’s difficult to know what’s best for us because we’ve had limited ball and we’ve had to chop and change, sometimes through necessity and sometimes because we don’t feel we have been doing the job well enough. We’ll have a look over these next few weeks.
“Siejka has shown some alright signs. He needs to get a little bit more match fit and Godinet’s shown some really smart pieces of play as well. We’ll have a look and try to find something that works for us and give it a chance.”

Not praising/backing Agar but people have made out he'd lost the dressing room and players weren't trying…not so today. Was mentioned on Radio Wakey are having their pre-season now with the late recruitment ….we will see if things are any better after the rest next week.'"
I prefer to try and be a bit more pro active and look past the end of my nose.
I think next year will be a massive problem as we barely have 2000 season ticket holders, quite a few of these being platinum, how many will renew for next year?
There are players coming out of contract, some that will not sign.
New players coming in, they have to have time to gel.
So we go back to Groundhog Day.
At least Bill Murray tried to stop the same things happening.

| The quotes 'limited ball' and 'have to find something that works and give it a chance'.
These are pure gold.
We have had limited ball due to the fact that he found something that worked and gave it a chance, he changed it.

we were pretty dire in a dire game which we always had won.
wakey showed up well in spells especially ryan, walshaw and sammut.
but it was a pretty low key game with lots of errors and stop start
we got the points but it won't be worth watching the highlights

| Quote: M62 J30 TRINITY "We've got to be realistic with the turmoil at the start of this season staying in the 12 this season would be a success taking us into next seasons new structure with full funding. Until we get into the new ground or get a sugar daddy on board we're highly likely to be involved in the end of season middle tier, and doing that as a SL club is vital because it will be hard in that middle 8 as a championship club'"
Correct, i was stood with a few trin fans last week. We all agreed that in january, 12th would have been good but expectations were built up by some overseas signings that havn't lived up to the hype (yet). Even if you only beat london and bradford that would keep you up in my opinion but is that enough to keep the fans happy and handing the money over. Either way as i've said before i think you will deffo survive.

| We seem to be bringing teams down to our level.Coaches from opposition teams say it was our worse performance of year and they mention how dull the games are. AGAR has got to go.

| Starting on a positive note I thought Walshaw, Samut and Ryan all showed some good signs and Moore again put in a god shift causing Hudds problems with his offloads.
Now for the negatives whilst I appreciate the Easter period is a tough one both teams looked to have turned up to go through the motions there was no intensity or urgency from either side.
Wakefields halves consistently took the wrong options attacking down the wrong flanks and some of the basic skills ie passing from the play the ball and general line passing was shocking from Trinity.
It's tough to single out individuals but Mathers was again woeful. He offers absolutely nothing for me. He was more of a speed bump rather than a defender and give you nothing in attack. The leadership qualities I hear about seem to consist of him walking round like he is carrying carpets under his arms and shaking his head a lot.
Every game this year for Wakey should be a Cup Final with players showing the determination to stay up but I just don't see that. This lack of motivation and poor basic play has to lie at the hands of the coach.
It is very lucky Bradford and London are so dire this year.

Very good assessment, although i'd also like to praise Molloy for his efforts given the tiny amount of game time he has had in recent times.
I suppose everybody has to have something to hang their hat on but lets not get away from the truth, Huddersfield were dire yet were comforatably better than we were. They would have lost that game to most teams but we didn't come close, our structure was as poor as ever and the same old dumb errors littered our play. Yes the effort was better and that was good to see but that should never be in question anyway, the fact is was and it's return is a point of opitimism for some speaks volumes as to how this team has been performing for it's coach. This though was not a good performance in any way shape or form, it was a poor performance punctuated with a few decent individual efforts. But as we are back to not having a pot to pee in then sacking anyone is impossible whether we want to our not and this I feel will cost us greatly. I really don't think Agar is the man for the task in hand but i hope i am wrong as we need him to sort it out.
Agar says the two weeks training time will be vital and will enable systems to be worked on and players to work on their fitness. So by that theory we can expect much better showings against Hull & Widnes, two teams that are doing ok this year (Widnes especislly) but are not unbeatable. We need at least 2 points out of these two games to stop the slide as with Cas & Warrington to follow it will be starting to look grim otherwise, especially if Bradford get some or all of their points back. I hear they will shortly strengthening their squad as well, they are just waiting for the ok to bring in overseas players from the UK border agency. Don't be surprised to see some changes in the coaching staff there either. Anybody thinking we are safe may just get a rude awakening, it is going to be squeaky bum time yet again.

I don't think there is any doubt Hudds were under par, they simply must have been.
However credit due, we must have defended reasonably well - better Wakey teams have been thumped far more by Hudds than this lot.
Sadlyit's more than likely individual players showing some self pride than anything the clown Agar has done.
Wake up MC and smell the coffee.
By nature I tend to back the coaching staff but Mathers on the wing is the act of a man who wants the be paid off and gone - how much more obvious can he make it!

I could certainly live with that.
Lets face it, how can he possibly do a worse job than Agar is doing at the moment
