Michael Carter still hasn't proven this like he said he would. The radio interview he did when all was going to be disclosed all he did was avoid the question.

| Quote: Bully_Boxer "You'd hope not, though you expect a bit more professionalism from another SL club chairman. No other chairman has to my knowledge made public comment on the appeal. If they have they certainly haven't threatened to walk out on their club if they don't agree with the independent panels decision. I expect he quietly regrets making the comments, it hasn't shown him in a great light whether you agree with what he said or not.'"
The lack of professionalism from club (bradford) chairman is a major part of the reason the Bulls are up the swanny Bully mate so lets throw the mud at the right people and not look to blame others.
At least ours is honest with the fans and is the only chairman to have had dealings with the RFL over Admin issues, so that may explain why he's shown concern.

I don't think many Bulls fans would disagree that our club has been poorly run. Still early days with Marc Green, I've been happy with what he has done so far and impressed with what he has had to say, including his response to Carter's comments.

Not seen what Mr Greens said so can't comment.

Ta.
He's saying and doing what he's thinks is in the best interest of the Bradford Bulls and fair play i wouldn't knock for doing that.
Carter is doing the same for is club.

| I can understand that, I just felt if was poor form to talk about walking away from the sport if the decision was overturned.

| Maybe if you had gone through what MC had for our club.....including putting your house on the line then maybe you might look at it differently BB?
Don't get me wrong, I have quite a fondness for Bradford....one of my best mates is a real big fan.....can also feel for fans with what's gone on recently, because it isn't the fans fault and like us you are the ones who ultimately suffer....
Maybe it's a couple of reporters making the issue a bit bigger than it actually is at the moment.....if Bradford have done their bit in paying off more debts and this is proved then I dont think there would be massive complaints from everyone and no-one would be walking away from the game over it if they were to get a couple of points back.......4/6 and I think it will be a bit more of an issue......Bradford are absolutely 100% correct in having a go, anyone can see that, MC even said he would do the same in that position....I still think he was totally justified in answering the questions like he has and making the point he has though taking into account what measures he has had to take....

| I got a lot of stick for my views on agar and mathers and I think I was proved right I'll probably get some stick about these views I wish I could get a bet at uncle Williams that whatever happens in the future at Wakefield our chairman will not lose his money or his house

Whether he loses them or not doesn't negate the fact that he put his money and his family home on the line in order to avoid Administration because he had been told by the RFL that in all likeyhood Administration would mean the revoking of Wakefield Trinity's Super league licence.
Add into the argument that we dismantled our squad in order to pay debts and are now on track to be debt free by the end of the season. Now weigh up how Bradford are being treated after having gone into Administration, paid no debts and sold no players of their own volition and are now set to have the only penalty they did suffer reduced or wiped out.
Bradford fans will start talking about penalties they received after their first Administration but that has nothing to do with this instance. That said they conveniently forget the secret loans, iconic Odsal deal and the months upon months of wages paid by the RFL, let alone the insipid hands off Bradford Bulls players decree from up on high something else that we were never afforded in our first time of crisis.

All of which is part of the reason why me and rugby league have fallen out. Carter would not be the only one walking away from the game for good should Bradford get away with their administration scot free.

| Think its ridiculous that they have an appeal in the first place. Perhaps they could have avoided their second administration by selling their high earning players, something we had to. I agree with Theboyem Carter won't be the only one walking away from the game.

| If this is the normal procedure for any sport where clubs have gone into administration what other clubs in other sports have had points deductions over turned?

| Lets not forget the other Super League coaches (McDermott) coming out and saying how they hope Bradford will be OK and players from other clubs (Peacock) selling medals to help fund Bradford. Not a sniff when Wakefield were in the mire.
I think they were right to help out their old club, and it shows there still is some honour in the sport, if only with the players, but it wasn't very evident towards us.

| Must admit i didnt like the McDermott comment from a former team mate who learnt to play the game in Wakefield. Thought would have been best to say not at the expense of the Wildcats. I will also walk away If bulls are given points back and it results in us being relegated.
