Lots of questions as to why we are in this position "again" but for now its good news and welcome news at that.'"
How many questions?
What position are we in exactly?
The Macron issue is a dispute between the club and Macron on quality and supply of goods. Macron have tried to use the WUP as a means to get what they believe is outstanding monies, from what I understand, this has not worked in their favour.
The HMRC issue should have never come to fruition as the club had already agreed a payment schedule as per Mr Glovers statement early on.
Seems the doom mongering continues

Funny how when Ferris wanted to spend up to the cap he was refused permission and forced out and now with threat of relegation they suddenly can do it. Oh just a minute they didn't have to spend 500k on their ground to keep Red Hall happy!!

Speculate to accumulate, sensible decision to over spend next year then cut back the following season with the safety net of knowing the additional central funding should ensure the club stay in SL1 should they finish outside the top 8 in the inaugural season of the 3x8's (if that is what the RFL pushes through).

I agree, and now would be a great time for us to welcome onboard these "alleged" investors (if they exist) that are waiting in the wings so that we too can spend the full cap (or near to it).

Could it be that they are not prepared to put money into an organisation just to take on a massive debt liability created by someone else.

Where does it say that payment terms were accepted? Nowhere.
It could easily be read as we made a payment offer in the hope they would accept and not advertise but they turned it down and advertised it. Guess we'll find out after monday whether agreement has been made.

Theres no doubt that spending over half a million less on the squad than everyone else is a surefire oneway ticket to the championship.

| It still totally puzzles me as to why Kirmond would commit and Tuson sign if they had not had assurances re. other player retention, further signings etc to create a really competitive squad.
I wouldn't have.
Would you?
Still does not make sense to me.
Furthermore how do other clubs go from the brink of admin to full salary cap?
Am I thick or what?

From Cas' point of view its a 70% increase in commercial revenue since Fozzard left and a new commercial team was put in place, a new team of directors to bring better business practise into the club and an investment of a large transfer fee for Rangi Chase into the playing budget. Apparently.

Interesting. He was lauded as fantastic in getting sponsors in to the club? That's the reason we employ him now isn't it?? Jobs for the boys??

Perfect timing for next season. Losing Chase is a blow but we will have a larger squad than ever before in our SL era. Looking foward to 2014 already.
