You'd have thought so though wouldn't you, with quite a few teams still appear to be short of players. Don't know if it's down to the players own demands being a little bit too optimistic.
Collis is class, you could clearly see that last season, how often he'd draw both the oppo's and winger in to create the overlap and flick the pass out, he's also got a good step as well.

Agreed, we've not seen the best of DC yet but hopefully we will.
Quallity player.

| I could see Mellars going to Fev - he knackered his eye last season didn't he and I'm sure at one point there was a suggestion his playing career may be over? Clearly that hasn't proven to be the case, but it must have been a serious injury. Either way, we didn't see anything like the form he showed for Crusaders.
Wilkes would be a bigger loss, but you have to assume that if he's been released, we have a replacement lined up.
As for Fev - if all of this activity is being funded by Feisal, you can only hope for their sake that they have a contingency plan in place - he dropped Cas like a hot brick when things didn't go his way and I have no doubt that he'd do the same with Fev.

As I understand that's where he played at Crusaders.

| He played mainly in the centre, usually with Elliot Kear on the wing. Of course he can play wing but don't think it is his "proper position".
Doesn't seem to have enough speed or agility for a winger to me.

Just looked back and you're correct, he played centre, I do apologise.

Urban myth peddled on here. Yes he can play on the wing but most of his career has been at centre. He even had a short spell in the second row during his 2nd year at Crusaders but nearly always was at centre during his time there. The wingers were a mix of Gareth Thomas, Elliott Kear, Stuart Reardon, Nick Youngquest & Luke Dyer. Think Ryhs Williams had a spell there as well.

Providing there is a recall option then i'm fine with that, the regular game time will do him good.
