The bit regards KR is maybe an assumption for me but from what I'm hearing all in all it looks good and IMO better than KR's news.

Are you hearing these little voices in your head

| Nope and in a way I wish he had not told me, I now wanna talk about it but not possible as I promised I wouldn't, the guy who told me also told me that it was parkin buying the club well before he was discussed seriously on here, we now know that parkin was buying the club up until the day before it went through so he had that bang on and was 100% that he was buying. For me his info is good, he regulary posts on here but never the rumours due to things like I mentioned earlier.

| It's the RFL that matters, although as we and Cas are just about even, if it is something genuinely positive, you never know.
Having said that, I want us both to stay in.

| Me too, it was great sending them down to stop them crowing about never being relegated, but once they where gone the derby was gone, bad times.

| With some people on here, I'd be shocked if this doesn't leak out before then. Bugger to get to on public transport as well!

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

I must admit to being baffled by what this might be and will make the hours drive to get to the meeting if I can.
As for Ingfield, not sure how that is feasible short term with a 2k capacity per Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ossett_Town_F.C. (is that correct?).
Albert Drive is an interesting suggestion and would be walking distance from my folks
Development of the Belle Vue ground could be interesting but is a major project. However, any ground related issue is for me like Newmarket, subject to planning permission, various hoops and time delays. Announcing something like this in June without planning confirmed would leave me hopeful rather than delighted. I fail to see how any ground/development in the Wakefield city boundaries could be a dead cert without someone already leaking planning permission.
A new investor/joint venture would be nice to know but to compete at the top we need a strong long term revenue stream. That means growing crowd numbers and revenue streams.
Is it an announcement of a potential merger? This may give SL assurance and fit the expansion to a national game per Red Halls (flawed?) mindset? This will certainly not win universal approval from us fans.
Whilst I am certainly intrigued and drawn in by the build up to this meeting I am unsure. The ground issue for me is secondary. The thing I want to know more than anything else, by a country mile, is if we will be in Super League next year. Since the announcement by Red Hall on the franchises is not until the end of July I cannot see in any way how the club can give me this assurance.
To label this as "the most important meeting in the clubs history" is quite a statement. I am intrigued but certainly at this stage, not convinced. Give us a license then I'll get excited.

| Forgot to mention the return to the old club badge is a great idea We already have 2 names in the club, having a third is not necessary but optional. St Helens never adopted an extra and Hull reverted back to FC. Hull KR never changed. How I long for the return of the days when the common chant was "T-R-I-N-T-Y Trinity! Trinity!"

| Nothing wrong with calling the club WAkefield Trinity Wildcats that name the branding and logo is one of the things that Ted and co got right as far as I am concerned. It will not make a scrap of difference if we have a wildcat logo or a flue de whatever on the top of the letter head it is not going to wIn you any games or bring fans through the gates.

| 'possibly the most important in the clubs history' AG is playing a dangerous game raising our expectations in this manner for if we are let down he will have lost a good deal of good will that caomes withthe 'wet paint'.
I'm sufficiently knarled by previous and similar announcements to feel the need to urge caution and whilst AG deserves to be trusted and believed until proven otherwise one can't help concluding that either way this will indeed be an important date for the clubs.
