2) Yorkcourt will build it along with the rest of the development, the stadium and associated facilities will be managed by a community trust.
3) Plans have been submitted - deadline for objections or support was 28th May
4) We're waiting for the planning decision, and to see whether the plans get 'called in' for review by HMG.
Thats as I understand it - I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wong'"
Do I understand it correctly that if HMG do call it in for review, we are pretty much goosed, due to the extra time this will add on?

Nope!
But it will take longer and it is unlikely to be 5-6weeks, probably July rather than June.
Stay strong!

| When are we likely to hear whether it has been called in, approved or denied??????
Is it a case of Any Day Now?
or Any Week now?
...any month

| 14th June was the target decision date, whether this will be met is anybody's guess.

Unlikely I am told.
The council will make their judgement then, assuming it gets the nod from WMDC, it will have to go to region to adjudicate due to the change of land from Green Belt - this is the automatic process. What happens then is the big call, but let's worry about that later.
I'm sorry, but patience is going to be required and it could be a long summer!
Stay strong!

This fact alone for me screams that certain members of Leeds City Council have a hidden agenda. You would think they would have known about the change in classification before spouting crap on the BBC.
With the new framework having already been approved (granted by the previous gov) wouldn't you assume the regional office would be straight forward if we as a city give it the nod??
When does AI get back from his jolly's?

The main change is political. A previous coalition between the Lib-Dems and the Tories in Leeds has been changed to a minority Labour controlled council - ironically run by Cllr Wakefield! Hence the change in mood - but it's our authority and not theirs who have the strongest vote on this issue.
Stay strong!

If there is something to gain - which we doubt at this stage, but can't rule out.
That could be, as kinley says, on the Newmarket site, but I would imagine there could be representatives from both sides and would perhaps engage the type of publicity which would harm us more than the NIMBY's.

| Hi All
Arrived back this afternoon and just been flicking through the thread. Oh dear, it looks likes even more people, including BBC Yorkshire, are being taken in by our three chancer friends and some of their neighbours! I wonder if our ex-Leeds United player John Sheridan is pulling in some local media favours?
Has anyone got a copy of the BBC Look North piece they could post to You Tube or send me a copy of please?
I need some time to go through and digest all the information, but we do have some potential tricks up our sleeves and I will touch base with TRB tomorrow to chat through some ideas.
Will post again soon.
