The overwheming majority of supportive comments on this board demonstrate what a decent club Wakefield Trinity is. I've always had a soft spot (given you're Yorkies and all), since distant childhood memories of a TV drama about a bunch of WT fans going to Wembley (mum and dad singing 'love and joy trinity way' for years after), and after watching Topliss and co in my first Wembley final.

This game is tough enough to survive in without beating each other up all the bloody time. All the people involved have been doing is trying to establish OUR game in another country and play to a new audience.

We are all too often playing the roles of the Judean Popular Front versus the Peoples Front of Judea whilst not realising that the Romans (RU etc) are just watching us knock lumps out of each other.

What a terrible shame that Ricky's spell with us is going to end in injury and missing out on the playoffs. Seems that some things in life just aren't meant to be.

Gutted for Ricky, he's better than what given credit for and I was guily for that in the past. But anyone can realise he has improved a lot this season. Shame to end his stay at Wakey this way.
