It would great if we got Scruton just imagine our first 17 may be within the next few weeks?
He is probably the experienced senior front rower than Agar has been referring to and is in the final year of a 3 year deal. It would be great if Wakefield could get him on a 2 year deal and would be one of our starting props IMHO..

Bear in mind that during his interview on Radio Leeds, MC said that there could be a couple out as well as a few in; I can't imagine after all his good work that he'll go on a signing spree whilst retaining all the existing squad.
All that said, I'm feeling buoyed - I'm not sure how he's managed it but for me, we look better across the park this year than last.

Keep franchises out of our game: |
|
| Not heard any rumours but the other one to go could be Sykes to London. They need some experience and now we have Sammut he is not so vital to our team. Then we bring in Scruton( the experienced forward Agar referred to) and Foster( to kick the goals). Jigsaw complete?

| Pleased to see the club getting a good rep regarding the Sammut transfer, unlike those perennial vultures .

Why over complicate it and why wish Foster on the club by getting rid of a decent if ageing player who can also kick goals - strangest post I've read in month

| Would rather have Sykes than Foster, as I believe he is a more creative utility player, and not just a winger who can kick goals.

| I can see Sykes being Smiths replacement at centre with Sammut & Godinet in the halves, Siejka (hopefully) as cover. A threequarter line of Fox, Collis, Sykes, & Briscoe or Lyne isn't that shabby with Keinhorst also around. In an ideal world i'd love to sign someone like Craig Hall who can cover 1-6 to a very good standard and also kick goals. Doubt that would be an option though. Adding Scruton to the front row would be a major boost, I rate him highly. Really hope that rumour is correct.

Scruton would be a great addition to these front rowers:
Raleigh
Anderson
Smith
Moore
Tautai
Matt Ryan (Prefers backrow)

| I hope we do get another forward just as long as Moore isn't in the 17

| I don't think Moore is a bad player he gives 100% and has been with us through tough times before.

| Scruton is a good player but hasn't he struggled with injuries last couple of years?

He played 27 games last season and won the Bulls player of the year. He's got the size at 6ft 1 tall and 17 stone plus ex international with several years experience. If the a Bulls continue to struggle financially he may not have a choice, it's a short career and he needs long term security with a 2/3 year deal which he doesn't have at the end of this year with the Bulls at the moment.
Think his wife works for WTW so they'd cut down on travel costs aswell!
