When he first came to England, Sam was touted as Whitehaven's classy half-back signing. Players become what coaches turn them into, and Saturday shows that. At one point, we had three hookers on the field: Sam, Drew and Latu. When the team was announced, Sam was said to be playing at 6, but as far as I could see, he played his normal game, getting stuck into defence and not really playmaking as a half-back.
George is naturally a centre, and he will become a centre. He has the size for it, and from the snippets I have seen of him, he has the guile for it. I just hope the knee problem was a one-off. |

What is hard to understand about Luke George been a reckognised Winger at the moment. Maybe his future will be in the centre but at the moment he is a winger! |

Sam IMO is a lot better at hooker and hope he will play at hooker more than at half back.
Yeah George played centre mmost of the time at Hudds but at Wakey he has been playing at winger, so when I see him in the squad I presume he will be on the wing. Thats why I say he is a reckognised winger at the moment. |
