I think the problem tonight and in the lead up to tonight is that people forget that despite The Dr not being there anymore and Salford selling O'brien, they still have a lot of good players, Evalds, Sau, Lui, Littlejohn who seems to be the sort of player that would suit us and they have a workman like pack.
Take them for granted and you'll get a surprise.

For all the talk pre-season about our 'monster' pack of forwards, I don't think I've seen a game yet where they've dominated the opposition pack.(missed first two of season due to holidays).

As for the rest, yeah bad result but may have shaken CC up to realise that you can change the team and not have a detrimental effect on performance, keeps players on their toes.
We are no way worse than Shudds, Widnes, KR and Catalan.

Ok we were behind at ht but, we'd had plenty of possession in their 20 but made a hash of all of those opportunities.
Second half was just embarrassing, really embarrassing with both Finn and Grix having their worst 40 mins in a Wakefield shirt.

Nothing much went to plan and the coaches had us there an hour and a half before kick off, it's just a pity that they opened them at all !

On the plus side, we have plenty in the squad that will be busting for a game and we need some changes for next week.

THe one sure thing is that, if we go with the same mindset and application next week, Cas will put 100 past us.

We've won 1 from 7 with the senior side, the kids couldn't do much worse than that

I had fears about a defeat at Salford. They are a good team but the manner of defeat and the score is disappointing.
That being said, if players have bad games, get them out and replace them . I think Jowitt was unlucky to be replaced anyway.
As for the pack, as another poster has said,despite the size of it, we haven't dominated one team so far this season and that's because it doesn't matter how near the sky you are it's what's in your chest that counts.
Team changes and move on.
