Quote: Gotcha "Hudson isn't Cas. He was a Leeds fan as a kid, born in Garforth and lived from early years in Rothwell. Played his Junior rugby for Wakey sides.'"

Thats correct, he played for Oulton and then later on Stanley
Was a Leeds fan also

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years" Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015 2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot. 2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance 2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son. 2020 - Keeping the faith.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_2597.jpg

Hudson was going nowhere at Huddersfield Giants when Wakefield rescued him. Once established as a Super League player he chose to move on (or up as he stated at the time) to Cas. The move was an open secret done deal for about half the time of his last season at Wakefield.
Wakefield was just a temporary vehicle at the time just like it would be now if a coaching opportunity came up at Cas.

Wow, a new level of insularity icon_rolleyes.gif

Best Wakey Coach Ken Trail by your logic Bradford through and through.

Nearly all the great local players from the great 60's team had a crack at coaching Trinity in the 70's and 80's with only Toppo really making the mark.

I fail to get your point.

Judging by Agars press conferences he has given up. If we don't get rid he will send us down. Morisson is a ready made replacement. Can't believe we gave Agar a 3 year deal big mistake. Losing by 54 points at home with the team we had out on Sunday is a utter disgrace. I hope Mr Carter has been in to tell them what for. If the players showed as much determination as Snowie giving his time up to do the ground we would not lose by that much. Bone idle, not trying no effort Sunday.Agar never apologised to the fans either. Just mentioned he can't do plays in training because there is too many out. Blah Blah Blah the young ones aint worthy to coach it then.
DO THE HONOURABLE THING MR AGAR

RESIGN

If the players put half the effort that snowie is in doing the stadium modds we would be a massive force I can tell you that as a fact from going down to the ground and helping him out.Agar could do worse than take the players round and show them whats been done and the hours that snowie has put in of his own time.

I didn't go. I was running the Brighton Marathon and I can tell you I would rather run the last 8 miles again than watch another game by a team coached (if that is the word) by Agar. Thank God I couldn't go. What an embarrassment. I am currently ashamed to support this great club of ours. Agar is dragging us through the Mire. OUT OUT OUT!!!!

Trailey was a hunslet lad, but that great 60s side had a sprinkling of local lads on a regular basis Freddie smith and Neil in the three quarters, poynton and holiday at halfback firthy, Sampson, oaks, briggsy and turner in a fearsome pack as well as a load of local lads on the fringes Wigan ,st Helens and Leeds for three have shown local lads among a few quality players from elsewhere is the ingredient needed for success

Try 3 under performing years at Hull on top of that! A familiar pattern follows his coaching career....the occasional impressive display heavily sandwiched between horrendous performances. We were mostly willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Hoping that maybe there were issues beyond his control at Hull. When you look at his CV it's beyond belief that he can have such a long career in top flight rugby. With this new 3 year deal he would have earn't himself 8 years worth of coaching contracts in Super League. He must be a smooth talker to get them contracts, I guess he was a snake oil salesman in a previous life.

www.superleague.co.uk/stats/club_stats

It makes depressing reading 254 missed tackles so far this season and 83 errors. It'll be interesting to see the team sheet for this Friday. Hope they've had the tackle bags out.

No more players to be loaned please and when we get Wildie back let's play him in the 17 every week to support McShane who like Kirmond will get burnt out if they carry on over playing them.

Genuine question, has anybody know of a link where it states he signed a 3 year extension? I never saw it formally announced, just a line from MC saying ge had extended his contract on the radio?

Interesting comment, I have been looking for confirmation of this but can't find anything concrete.
Just looked on the 'Zero Tackle' website and they have Jordan Crowther signed up til 2017 but Agar only to end of this season.
So it must be pretty up to date, maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel but I also thought he had been given a 2 year extension.
