| I'll put this in the Shareholder chat but Matt confirmed plans for the old kitchen/house place.
Of the things they are doing that's the first one.
New building for shop, with cafe incorporated into it. Boards have gone up and they are starting straight away.
The designs look really smart.
Possibly bar area backing onto the fan zone but that bit is still at idea stage.
They will shut the store in the Ridings as the rent is way too high and this is a much better option. Especially for game day.
They may do a pop up shop in town depending on the need but I don't think they'll need to.
This one looks amazing.

I wonder if the money they’re saving on rent could be used to get some advertising space around the city. Or maybe even look at some sponsorship/collaboration with trinity walk itself which include some air time on the big screen.
I’m thinking mainly show some highlights and clips from the final. Short video of players lifting the cups and fireworks/wembley along with season ticket Info following.
I completely get the shop moving but I feel there’s scope to tap into city centre traffic more efficiently.
It seems that the cafe idea could be interesting. If it’s going to operate as a business 7 days a week then could earn some money on a busy Doncaster Road morning and afternoon. I’d certainly hold it taps into the coffee takeaway market like Costa/starbucks etc. our own Trinity branded coffee shop with food selection could be a great idea. All about the coffee these days and margins would be quite good in sales.
I’m rambling again but I like thinking on my feet with these things and if someone sees these ideas and any of them spark something positive it’s worth discussing.

| They didn't go into it but they did still see value in advertising in the City so your ideas are valid I think.
Their driver for shop in part was from other clubs who gain a big percentage of sales on game day. We don't do enough of that.

| Well I would go as far as looking at footfall and likely look at laying some foundations at key dates and times in places of high footfall.
Considerations of mine would be …
Wakefield bus station - peak weekend and even week date and times.
Wakefield train station - as above.
Trinity walk peak shopping times (especially in the run up to Xmas!!). I’d be looking at screen time for clips of cups etc and prep a catchy slogan.
Look at doing a link up with a few supermarkets in the area - especially during peak times.
I’d be looking at large scale local businesses too and exploring opportunities to get involved with the largest in Wakefield.
The opportunities are limitless assuming the club have the resources to throw at it.

| They are all over the partnering with local businesses.
This is clearly an area of expertise for Matt and Craig.
Completely agree on advertising locations.

Bad move for me losing a shop in the city centre. There are no game days in the period leading up to Christmas.

Thought when it went up for sale that is was an opportunity not to turn down. ME also liked my cafe idea too.

| It would appear that a trench has to be dug around the full ground perimeter to accommodate the LED advertising. The fixings have to be "built in" as opposed to surface mounted as part of the IMG reqiurements. Possibly necessitating removal of part of the concrete terracing.

That would make sense.
You'd have thought if there was any major improvements being made, that it would have been announced that works were commencing
