I think you all need to cut Gianttown some slack, as it was only a couple of weeks ago that people were moaning about the lack of activity on this forum.
Gianttown comes along and feeds you and all you can do is slag him off!

Watched it back last night and you’re right FT, 2 carries and 2 knock ons, his shirt was as clean when he came off as it was when he went on, talk about shirking your work

I also noticed this at the game. You then look at Tupou and I know who I’d rather have lining up at centre.

And then when you take into account what they must be paying him to get him over here in the first place!

In all fairness to the bloke though it was his first game back from a horrific injury and was a nothing game, think he will probably come good during the season at some point, just depends whether or not he settles in and is here to play! Was apparently big in the community side of the game when at Newcastle as well which is always a positive for a club.

I think his record speaks for itself and this is absolutely right, an absolutely nothing game in freezing conditions probably wasn't the best one for him to come back to.

If anyone is going to question his talent based on this game then they meed to give their head a good shake.

Yet time and time again we have seen that the this pedigree that we seem to put players on because they have had a good NRL career is setting them up to fail - Who would have questioned Kevin Locke`s talent when joining Salford? Or the like of Inu at Catalan? Until I have seen them perform and make an impact for there club in SL nothing else really matters...

Fans of other clubs bang on about Wakefield not been able to attract/afford these types of player well quite frankly I am glad that we cannot... Give me the likes of Tupou and Fifita any day over Uate and Merrin - They will be on a fraction of the salary and turn up with the right attitude the majority of the time.
