Absolutely right . It's a bit of a catch 22 cos if we both got new stadia , and stayed in SL , crowds would improve , hence raising income , and securing both of our futures in the years to come , as we would become category B if not A and hence miss out on the stress we are currently experiencing . Sadly , it looks as though at least one of us , if not both , will miss out , and who knows where we will be then in 3 years time financially , or the RFL plans for new expansion clubs . It sounds really pessimistic , but if either or both of us lose our franchise , it could mark the end of SL for the foreseeable future . There's a lot riding on the outcome in July . Good luck

I'd suggest their average will significantly decrease considering they've played their 3 big games for the season eg Wigan. St Helens and Warrington

6700 is a good average considering we've had quins and Salford at home already. Would be nice to break the 7k average. Hudds are going well this season so hopefully they'll bring more than the usual mini bus full which should hopefully mean only les cats as a poorer crowd. With promotions and marketing for that game if we could get 6.5k plus that would be a good acheivement

Funding sorted (allegedly), planning permission is the stumbling block as got called in for public enquiry which won't get a decision till probably this time next year. Having said that, other planning considerations mean that in theory that decision is likely to come out in our favour (or so I'm told by more knowledgeable people than me)

Also, it sounds like we've got contingency plans for next season til a decision on Newmarket is reached, quite what it is is anybodies guess!

read a abit about wakey in the rugby league world and it states in there that you have the all the funding sorted so thats good news. and im sure i read somewhere that wakey will play at oakwell til the stadium is done not sure that would be good though for the club.

Doubt it will be oakwell mate. Rfl not keen on the idea apparently. Upgrade of belle vue or dewsbury rams stadium been mooted
