Quote: Kettykat "All we’ve ever lacked is confidence and we look like we’ve put that to bed today , and the thing that most clubs struggle with and that’s consistency.stood down the far end of the west terrace today and you could see how relaxed the players were talking to their wife’s and children whilst warming up on the touch line . Fitita even had time for a joke with my son when he told him he was in his dream team and to get a couple of tries to boost his points . The whole team oozed confidence and we’re relaxed and enjoying themselves today ,a good day at the office I’d say .'"

Chessie could learn from the programme I watched last night in which Brian Clough said at a time when his forest team wasn't playing well that the players feed off on how he management react, when he commented in front of the cameras he never let his reactions to press get the better for them to make his team worse.
Now is his time to build on that keep control keep the confidence building and it will continue to get better but it begs to ask why the start of the season was so dire.

Well done again lads eusa_clap.gif let's not let the next game v Leigh be a downer

Superb performance today rom 1 - 17.
Defensively magnificent, especially these 5 sets back to back in the first half, absolutely brilliant.
Fifita, best game of the season so far, Jowitt, quality at FB, Lino, getting better and better and Miller too.
Our pack were utterly dominant, which allowed the backs to play.
I thought that we'd lose (narrowly) today but, how wrong I was.
The first 40 was 10/10, with some quality tries in there too.

Well done Trinity, hopefully we can start looking up and with defence like that, no fear. a014.gif a014.gif

For me the best 80 minutes since we spanked Hull 72-10.
A great performance.

Well done again lads The reason why the first 6 games was so dire was, because Mr Chester was putting round pegs in square holes and concentrating on defence so much ,he forget that it's as important to play players in key positions that can bring some thing to the attack .Plus we could not get the spine of the team on the park at the same time through injury. I admit I have said it was time for a change ,but think the last two matches have give me more faith in the Coaching staff as a unit

What are you on about, of course he was playing players out of position that’s what happens when you have injuries, it’s not rocket science, unbelievable.

It’s a forum vasty that why people have their own opinions ,no need to knock everyone that says something different to what you believe . Come on we could have cained you for the Ryan hall is fat comments ,but that is your opinion , which in my opinion is way off but there you go . We all see the game in different ways and all differ in how we talk about it ,and that is what makes this a good forum , please don’t stifle people’s view just because they see it differently than yourself.

I have been away so no access to the forum. I like all Wakefield supporters are ecstatic that we won because the bottom line is SL survival. I must admit I don’t know who coaches the defensive structure but they have improved the team considerably. I believe it was Peter Fox who said defence wins you games because it results in the opposition making mistakes.
I still believe that Chester is not the answer for next season, sorry Vastman but that is my opinion based on our performances in general. I believe we will make the mistake of giving him a further extension but that will be the club’s decision.
I believe our two victories towards the end of last season were Hull KR followed by Huddersfield but let’s hope that is just coincidence and we can carry on and win again next Sunday.

I don’t mind opinion and I don’t mind it back but sorry if I see something I disagree with I will comment, end of. Shoot me down all you like over anything, I don’t care to be honest, if I put my head above the parapet then I accept what’s coming, same applies to anyone else.

CC has taken some real crap on here from some truly clueless posters, and now when he’s getting some relief some still can’t resists the taking a pop!

Or is the forum you want only one where people who dig at the club get free reign but those who defend it don’t, huge double standards on this forum at times.

So how many would he have to win to change your mind?
Or is it unchangeable?

what's it got to do with it if they were the same two fixtures as the end of last season? I don't get your reasoning?
Did you watch the last two games because if you did, you'd realise that we were good value for the win in both games. In fact we were so dominant in the game against Huddersfield that I think we would have beaten most SL teams.
Give credit where credit is due and stop trying to water the victories down by making silly comparisons!
If you're a Wakefield supporter enjoy it!

If you've been away and had no access to the forum, then how come you were logged on to the Leigh Centurion board for the best part of an hour yesterday tea time? unless of course somebody had hacked into your account.

I don’t believe you are ecstatic that we won. You get far more jollies when we lose so you can have another go at CC
