There's an example that you're seeing right now of a so called lesser team smashing a superior one isn't there. This same team spanking Saints, got dry bummed at Hull last week. Yes we have got stronger on paper and got rid of a clueless Coach, add to all that we've had one game, one which we could have won if not for a couple of silly individual errors. So we'll see won't we.

Salford have played with aggression, pace and good defensive and offensive structures...Trinity need to do the same.

They really have. Sometimes it's not about who's got the biggest names, it's about a set of players who can turn up and play hard with good structures & not make silly errors & mistakes, which Salford have done.
Lui was outstanding for them.
Saying all that and not taking anything away from Salford, Sants were awful, proper keystone cops at times.

| Salford played the players in the Saints shirt, not the Saints name.
Basic motivation from a experienced head of rugby.
Don't be intimidated by the name, you are better than the players playing in their shirts.
As for BOJ04, what happened to 'right lets get positive'? Tool!

Are you including Saints in that statement? Where were their big name players when inspiration was needed.

| That's the worst performance I have ever seen from a Saints side. Yes well done to Salford but I doubt they will have an easier game all season. Saints just sank and didn't even show any spirit.have yo agree the half backs looked good for Salford and if they can keep that going they will be okay. It's very early days and I wouldn't expect Salford to finish above Saints ,would you.

We can do without him pointing to the dressing room for the sin binning though.

| I see Powells dummy spit last week has hit the commentary team last night. Can't believe Cummins thought that the Salford player should've been banned for the tackle that injured Percival. The games going soft.

| Saints folded - with the exception Alex Walmsley, they didn't looked in the slightest bit d about that game.
Fair play to Salford though - they started quick and played with real intent; crap to watch as a neutral, but probably just what the Dr ordered from a Salford perspective.

| There's also the rather questionable team selection that Saints put out which has clearly backfired spectacularly.

I disagree - I loved it! Couldnt believe what I was seeing. As bad as Saints were, Salford were smashing them in every collision and playing the ball so fast that Saints couldn't live with it.
Wanted Saints to win tbh as think we will be tangling with Salford more than them when it comes to the crunch but fair play, I enjoyed it. Dread to think what Sydney will do to them if they turn up like that again though.

| 10 minutes into the 2nd half I turned it off. It was just too one sided to be entertaining.
Owens was particularly responsible for putting Saints on the back foot and geeing Salford up. From there on in Saints really didn't want to know.
