He was contracted all season. There was nothing stopping the club from making him play out his contract and leaving at the end of the season.

I do not know what you do for a living, However if you were a Macdonald's worker
on a 12 month contract and KFC came in and offered you another 24 months on more money what would you do?
It is their living there is no room for sentiment, they have a 10 yr shelf life and have to set their families up for life,
Welcome back to planet earth
Plus the club wanted the money more that Brough did!

This is true but by all accounts the Huddersfield offer was still more than what we offerd him and also it was a longer contract meaning that he has more long term security.
I don't like the fact that he moved but i can understand the reasons behind it.

If he worked for McDonalds he would not be on a contract, but just to humour you if he was on a 12month contract you would expect him to honour it simply because Mac's were good enough to offer him it and he obviously thought it was good enough for him and his family to sign it hth.
It is their living there is no room for sentiment, they have a 10 yr shelf life and have to set their families up for life,
It is also the employers living, who have taken the chance on him( I assume we are talking about judas now) with a 3year contract where an injury could put him out for a season, he wont be running off to the social for his sick pay like the rest of us will he? well no he wont he will expect the club to fork out.
Welcome back to planet earth
Not even worthy of a comment
Another quality post shissitt.

i dont care one way or the other, he left us in the mire, he was under contract. SPORTING CONTRACTS ARE DIFFERENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS. he wanted to leave the club took the quick money with no replacement in place. great bit of business.

Maybe he left because of double agent Kear and his useless coaching and the dull, boring brand of rugby and having to play with Blaydire and other useless players. Much like those fans who stopped going, maybe going to the cricket instead, and who aren't getting season tickets for next year. Interesting take on loyalty and morals some folk have.
