thought that winterstein did well. anybody know the situation with him next year. the way he was shaking the kids hands at the end made it appear it was his last appearance..hope i am incorrect, only young and been injured most of the season.

A stint in the championship would probably suit and develop him. At present he's a bit part squad player and he needs game time for that development.

Are you lot a still on about that one, if you watch the tape drew still had the ball in hand when Murell hit him, hard but fair. Briscoe got hit awkwardly on the shoulder again hard but fair. latus on Gene was again a seemingly fair tackle. Now where we come from hard hits are part of the game and hopefully the player gets up and gets on with it. Unfortunately Drew never did at ours and likewise Briscoe never at yours. To then wish the player lasting harm makes you both look both foolish and stupid and certainly not a true supporter of rugby.

Agree. Hard hits good!.....finding something funny about a player getting injured or worse, wishing long term injury is pathetic.
Surely the events of 2009 have taught us that much! |
