| Quote: charlie63wildcat "Decided to go for it this year as I feel we achieved a great success last year in making the Middle 8's & the Cup Semi. I picked it up yesterday. Apparently only 700 or so sold so far which is slightly concerning maybe. I'm not lecturing; I haven't had one myself for 4 seasons but I hope Wakefield fans start to feel like me; I think we just might be starting an upward curve in our fortunes on and off the pitch and I want to get behind them as much as I can. I hope this feeling spreads!'"
Hopefully they might be Crimbo presents.

| That is slightly concerning because they're cheaper until the end of November PLUS they're letting you pay the fee over three months.

| To be fair the physical outlet for sales is hardly encouraging people in. Still is it usually 1500 - 2000 we usually sell so with a month to go to the increase in price its probably about right. We are a poorly supported club.

| I know a few ST holders from previous seasons that aren't renewing this time for various reasons.
The main one being the uncertainty of making all of the games (changing Ko times being the main bug bear) plus, the usual uncertainty on what sort of team we will have to follow.
Although the team were busted after (actually just before the CC semi), turning up to watch your team get 50 points put on them and with nothing to play for is just not enough of a draw.
We've effectively only played for 1 season out of the last two and although its a vicious circle between getting bums on seats and being able to compete, the fact that we have written off large chunks of the last 2 seasons is certainly a problem.
I know that this is a pretty negative post but, the numbers of home supporters at our last few games was mickey poor and even if we are looking down the barrel of the gun and expecting to get beaten, there has to be something better coming from the coaching staff and management to encourage people to part with their hard earned cash.
Hopefully having JK back on board will see this aspect change as he has always been up for the fight and tried to carry the fans along with him.

| Sky messing about with KO times and days is killing the smaller clubs, I can only make games on Sundays for definite, plus i maybe able to make an odd Fri game, so with the prospect of only being able to make 50% of the games, i'm not going to buy a season ticket. Whilst all clubs are in the same boat with this, the smaller supported clubs can ill afford to lose any tickets sales so subsequently notice it more than the better supported clubs. If the fixtures were published and more or less stuck to it wouldn't be so bad, but to change them with as little as 2 weeks notice is ridiculous.

| Had a season ticket for last 5 seasons, but due to the amount of changed KO times and days this last season and missing 3 home games thanks to that, then this year I will be pay as you go, if I make all home then the club wins as will have paid more than if I'd bought a season ticket

| I've got one for the first time in a few seasons, partly because with the student discount it effectively gave me one extra free game which I'd normally have to pay on the gate for. 700 isn't a bad amount, hopefully that'll double before the prices rise, then rise again for Christmas presents. I reckon we'll probably sell around 2500 season tickets this year which is an improvement on the last few years and is certainly heading in the right direction. Another good season with a decent finish and respectable cup run should see even more people start to get sesson tickets again. It'll take a few more years, but all being well we should be able to get to 3-4000k ST holders if image

I don't think we're a that poorly supported to say we've not won anything for 3 generations and the ever so frustrating ground situation. Get ground sorted and a competitive team and we will won't need to worry about support. We also have the better potential for bigger crowds than most that's why some smaller town clubs love to see us fail.
I'll be getting my season ticket after Christmas.

| Been down and got ours, good deal the club have put on the family ticket price. My thinking always has been buying a ST is an investment in the future of the club, I will no doubt fritter away more than £540 on things I care a lot less about this year so prepared to take the hit on possibly missing a few games.

| Daughter #2 went in to the shop on Saturday and got all ours (cost her £996 altogether !!!) but as we are still within the first thousand sold, she got given the goody bags too. Whilst we can make use of the car stickers, key rings etc, the 4 "pump" bags are surplus to requirements, so if anyone local to Wakefield wants them for their kids pumps/boots/trainers, please PM me and I will be happy to post them through your letter box or hand them over F.O.C.
They are dark blue draw-string bags with the new Trinity logo on the front.

| That's concerning that we're still within the first 1000, that's very low compared to all other clubs and ours have been out longer than some clubs

The fact we have only 4 or 5 games on Sunday might affect things as well.
I have already bought my ticket but cant make week night games so will be out of pocket.
It doesn't bother me as I would buy a ST anyway, but to others it will understandably put them off
