I for one will not be sat around anticipating the Warrington v Widnes slaughter, then another 1hr plus for the Humberside derby - admittedly a decent game usually!
IMO many folk just won't wait, and certainly many who are due for the later games will not come early for ours.
So, expect around 5,000 people in the stadium come 1pm on the Saturday - and some of them to leave afterwards - I am fairly confident I can be sat in front of the telly by the time the 3-eyed-fish are on!

Got a flyer through the post saying match day price was £30. So considering what you have just pointed out TRB I have just had a further moment of common sense and thrift and decided I will be watching the game on the telly.

If I go at all, it'll be on the beer train for our game; I would have watched whichever games were before and after ours but if there are hours between them, I shan't hang about.
I'd love to know the logic behind this - maybe they're trying to create 'dwell time' in the Etihad, to flog a load of pies and beer?

I'm off on the saturday but the gaps are too much and its a good 20min walk to city centre so ill be watching wakey match.. going into manc then coming for 2nd half of wire game watch FC game.
Shocking times... makes getting train back very tight too...

I think it's going to be very poorly attended, over both days. Last I heard FC were leading the way with sales selling over 3.5k, 1500 ahead of the next best sales, which is very worrying.

It's only £15 with a Gold season ticket - so get your wallet out you tight rs! 
It's worth that for the one game - and we do owe our neighbours one!  |

| The concept just does not work for me I have never been nor had the inclination sat in a big empty stadium.
I would watch Wakey v Cas in Manchester but only in a game such as a cup game or play off. The league game on the road is meaningless the powersthat be should be held to account. IMHO  |
