| Most of our tries against have been because players cannot catch a ball its embarrassing, its one of the easiest skills I cannot understand why we cant catch a ball.

I agree with the comment on defence and have made my comments about this weakness on here before. It was under the topic "encourage" page 5, sorry but I don't know how to re-post it as I am new to this and don't want to look like I go on about the same thing all the time, but my opinion on this is there should you wish to see.

If you think taking the bomb under heavy traffic is one of the easiest skills then you have never played RL or certainly not at 1, 2 and 5. It's easily the most nerve racking and exposed thing you can do in a game, bar none (well maybe kicking the winning conversion).

- We have the best defence in the bottom 6, conceding 278 points. So I cant agree that our defence hasn't improved. As NGB4C has stated, the only thing we can't defend is kicks.
- When our forwards are gaining decent yards, and creating a platform for our backs, then we do have a good kicking game with John, Smith and especially Wood. Without our forwards gaining any meters, our backs can't get any decent kicks in.
- Walsahw & Trout are gettin games near enough every week, and we have Davey, Spiers and Hyde all out on Dual Reg. However, I think we need to get Wildie involved alot more somewhere on the park!

Time will come when the truth about Gaz Moore will come out ? Before the club paid him off they made him sign agreement that he could not go public about the reason for his departure for at least 6 months ! Gareth Moore's dad fell out with Mr Kath Hetherignton at Hull fc whilst he was UK director of ISC kit supplier. This was the reason why that CLOWN Agar had a personal issue with Gareth from day 1. i can tell you the first word's from Agar to Gareth were your going to York i dont want you here, How bad is that ? he never give him a chance to perform in front of him regardless of him being the ONLY goalkicker at the club, and the ONLY onfield kicker as well as been a young british half back !!!
I have spoken to Gareth several times since he left Wakey and he still cannot get over the way he was treated by Agar

With respect, on terms of defence, the fact is, is that we are conceding tries due to our poor defence which is costing us games (best defence in bottom 6 or not).

It's sad to see players like Moore & Kyle Briggs not getting as many opportunities as some of the rubbish overseas players do in SL.

I have watched Batley 4 times this season I did not like it at first when Agar let him go without giving him the chance but I have to say he got it right Moore may be a decent goal kicker but the fact is he is not a SL halfback
ref the defence we have let far too many tries in from kicks we all know that but time and time again we do not move up and meet the opposing team we have had a problem with this under Kear and now Agar its not rocket science its basic RL
and game in game out we allow the kicker far too much time the Bradford game was a classic example it was not the fact BJ was outstanding it was the fact we did not close him down time and time again he had time and space to work with

The Bradford game and leeds games are fine examples one on one takes and a couple nobody was there and we drop the ball. We seem to do it worse than anyone else.

That is a different argument.
You said it's an easy skill - it isn't.
Now you're saying we are bad at it - that I can agree with.

| It may not be an easy skill catching a ball in heavy traffic, but thats a bit like saying heart surgery is a difficult skill for the lay man - but if you are paid to do heart surgery then you are expected to show a decent level of competence. Same with Fox and charley - its not just catching it under heavy traffic its catching it generally thats a problem
What has been realy disappointing is the number of times we dropped the kick under little if any pressure, cant understand why when we are defending on 5th tackle what mellors and other centres that have played are doing in terms of supporting protecting there wingers.

| Think we struggle to put man on his back sometimes and allow them up too quick. Refs are more lenient at play of the ball providing you are not too bad as most refs don't want to blow up and want game to flow. We are too nice when it comes to this area and dive off to easy.
