It’s a tough start to the season but if we can pull a few wins out early that would be a huge boost.

Golly gosh heads are down before a balls been taken up in anger , we may not be top 3/4 but there are certainly plenty of teams in the mix around us and with a decent run of form and being kind with injuries we have a squad I believe that will hold their own in the mid to lower table ,and let Leigh and HKR slog it out for the chop

I also think Cas could struggle if the likes of Widdop and Milkie miss any games, With Richardson and McClelland struggling the spine could be quite weak. Looking at a few teams the key is injuries most have a strong 17 but some teams strength weakens considerably outside of this.

Will just be nice to get off to a good start and get some points on the board think the friendlies show our first team out we are ok but any injuries at all in key positions and we will really struggle

Agree time will tell .But you can only coach so much Hope the discipline is a lot better than over the last few years

On the Cas forum there on about Miller as hooker . Very happy with the 6 and 7 .Think there spine looks stronger than ours, time will tell

Just saw this morning that Salford say they only have a 21 player squad and 19 fit players

21 players wont be enough.
Do they have an academy ?

Well done some looking , he said they had 19 fit in a 21 player squad but they have 28 players on their website . So not sure it's making excuses

His squad probably has 7 players he doesn't rate as Super League standard.
