Butler is suspended in case you've forgotten and they obviously don't want Battye.
It's good experience for him if he gets a couple more SL games under his belt whilst he's not being selected here. At this stage Bowden is seen as higher up the pecking order along with Whitbread, Fifita and Arona.

And to be honest. If it helps Leeds beat Toulouse it's good for us

He’s not a top 4 prop in our team, Leeds are obviously struggling. We have a healthy relationship with Leeds/ G Heatherington. See it a massive compliment to our young product. No negatives out of this what do ever

He’s a young lad learning his trade.
He’s one for the future from what I’ve seen of him but not yet ready for regular selection.

Good attitude, good engine and will work all day for you. Never let us down when given a chance.
