First I’m delighted with today and I’d love a cup run, it would be the start of a new era on the field if we could get to WHL.

Not being a killjoy but this is Trinity.

So all the same and I’m sure everyone knows this but it’s really repeating what WP said.

We need to totally forget about the CCup now.

We have Salford and Cas at home and we need to win at least one but really both otherwise today will be a totally hollow victory.

I can’t wait to play Wigan and see what we can do but far more than that I want those four points, then and only then will I enjoy the Wigan game.

Up the Trin but the bread and butter stuff first k020.gif

Top six 2005 - Trinity.:

Poching has the right idea. Go into every game wanting the win and take the games week by week. No point looking forward past your next opponents. It’s a good ethos.

I made the decision this year to watch both my teams… sharks and Trinity… one game at a time… and enjoy each game as it comes…

I’m not interested what competition, what opposition, what the league table says, what’s coming up in two or three weeks… just look at the game in front of me and enjoy it… and I am …

Up the Trin but the bread and butter stuff first All I saw today was a well coached fit team playing some great football .Good defending, and a team playing for each other. A win over Salford and Cas would be good .But think the way we have played in the last two games ,we have got more wins in us than losses

Great win for Trin. Let's try to gain some consistency now with a good winning run. I'm getting more and more impressed with young Hall.

I agree but we have to win key league games otherwise we could still be in brother. If that happens nobody will rember the last two games.

I can’t see it as Willie is too canny but teams sometimes lose there way. We will have a lean spell at some point so why we are playing champagne rugby we need a clear head.

Must say though the rugby we have been playing in the last two games has been stunning, incredibly entertains. Not just the tries but the defence and sheer will to win.

Brilliant stuff.

Agreed but the composure is through the whole team it’s just more noticeable In Hall because nobody expected it, we’ll I didn’t.

The above is all about good coaching and man management imo.

It was great to see Murphy have a very good game A 18 year old winger and a 19 year old playing as a pair against a so called big team and bringing so much to the team. So many positives about the way the team is progressing at present happy days

Thats great and i agree except Wigan cup game is after Salford and before Cas, all home matches now for the next 3 weeks repeat the form and all will be worthwhile

To be fair I think Murphy is 19 years old. Maybe just turned 20. That said both Hall and Murphy played well today. They could both make a good future partnership.

Blimey!! Just been making my daily browse of the TYKES MAD Barnsley FC forum and there's more chat about Trinity on there than there is on here. Can only be good fo the Club.

You can’t stop start a team when they’re on a roll like some on here had suggested (,lets put the cup on the back burner for yet another year) ,just like the last 20 odd years .To Keep on winning and putting out the strongest team at all times that is the only way to go forwards and create that winning culture. We have a coach and team that are focused on the job in hand ,and even going behind early today just as the previous week ,you know this Trin is made of sterner stuff and outplayed the wires for a second consecutive week and clearly have the ability to win Wigan .If only more people had as much belief in the team as the team have in themselves some may just start to have faith in them .Little side note ,who the hell is Magoulias ,there me thinking he was some sort of superman reading on here !! There only one superman in my books and thats Fifita. Please have more belief and keep the faith , its poaching at the helm now .

Listent to W P interview on radio on way back and he said he is not thinking about Wigan ,because we are playing Salford next Was playing every thing down that the interviewer was saying .Got the impression that he is a Coach who is calm and looks at every detail of the match to help the team on the field improve .Think last year our heads would have gone down when we went 12 down after 15 mins .,but the Coaching staff saw the problem and stopped the problem

I seen the interview with emma phowwrrr jones and yes he is only intrested in the salford game and even more noticeable to me is he wasnt that happy with afew aspects including the defence and will be working on it over the week.if thats how he reacts to keeping them to 12pts shows the way the man workswhich i like not getting carried away still looking how to improve
