Another post on the Red, White and Blue FB page is offering a chance to win a Platinum Season Ticket for a fiver. Even if you already have one its OK as a prezzy or just for the extra shirt.

Seems a bit defensive to some ideas, reading it, especially the mini ticket.

To me, that is aimed at those who can't/won't commit to a full season ticket or stay away fans and potential new fans

But reasons are provided.

So should run with it, even though thinks it will reduce overall revenue?

Where do you get that from?

There were 14 questions
7 he said were good ideas and he would do them or look into when they could do them (like the new facility for beer tent)
5 he said we were already doing something but with a couple of restrictions to either protect those who already have STs or Trinity TV
1 Happy hour he said they tried it and it lost money
1 Home and Away ST he said wasn't a bad idea but the prices aren't always available from away clubs so hard to make it work.

I thought it was a really good response to be honest

One I liked was the juniors season ticket holders got into away grounds for free by exchanging tickets at the shop on showing your season ticket . But all clubs would have to agree again to this . After all these are the future of our game .

To be fair most of the ideas were to discount something, not a way to generate revenue.

To me you're either a season ticket holder or you're not.
I don't for one reason or another get to all home games, but I hold, and have held for years a full season ticket. It's my contribution to the club. albeit small compared to what some people put in.
So, to those who can't get to all games, the season ticket gives much needed revenue to the club, if you can afford it get your hand in your pocket and be proud to be a full season ticket holder.

That’s exactly what I have done this season, I won’t get full use but what the hell.

An example of this (and I'm still embarrassed by it) was the last home game against Hull - I really don't know why but I thought it was away!
According to another poster on here I missed the best rugby we have played for ages (didn't I Redscat!) but what the heck I'll pay more attention next season!

The winner of the ticket (who also got a junior ticket) was a guy who wasn't going to purchase one so that's a bit extra into the club up front. Another draw to start shortly I believe. You've got to be in it to win it.
