| Just received an email from our CEO Michael Carter urging supporters to purchase their memberships for next season.
The importance of buying a membership to support the club, gives the board an opportunity to buy other players, let’s hope in the coming weeks things pick up in this area.
I also noticed on Twitter that the club smashed records for merchandise sales this weekend. This excellent news coupled hopefully with some positive news on Tuesday from John Minards regarding the stadium will keep the club moving the the right direction and help encourage people to buy memberships.
Let’s all try to support the club the best we can in what should... with a bit of luck..... an important crossroads in the clubs history.

This week I’ve had emails from Leeds Rhinos, Wigan, Warrington and Hull KR but nothing from Wakefield. Can’t remember the last time I did. I didn’t even get one when I won a voucher on Club 1873 a couple of years back.

Not having a go but get in touch! My lad had the same problem, turned out it was an IT issue. The club apologised and all has been well since.
Trinity is a small company with less than 50 full time employees, it’s IT department I believe consists of one person so please give them some slack.
It’s also worth pointing out that the club effectively went bust under Ted then Glover. Having worked for numerous companies with similar track records things get fractured over the years.
It not perfect in fact it’s a bit annoying but it’s little things like this where we can help. The whole thing probably needs a professional to come in and sort it but that will cost. At the moment I honestly don’t think we would recoup that so better spent on players.
Look at it this way, the club has completed the immense task of winning an Academy licence and hopefully a stadium rebuild, quite an achievement imho. Of course there are negatives but we as fans need to push the positives, that’s where you will get season tickets. I know it’s a bit chicken and egg but we have a CEO who simply won’t gamble so it’s up to the people of Wakefield.
PS. I won the lottery thing five weeks in a row, didn’t claim any of the prizes though I would have the cash one . All the same I Didn’t here a thing, so I know where you’re coming from.

| I've had the same with the Club 1873 - gave up trying to give my change of address after numerous attempts. Having moved again recently popped in to the shop and Darren was sat by the door doing the Club 1873 so he updated the database for me.
Sometimes when you go in for season tickets and the like they are still on paper records. I'm just grateful to have a club most of the time, there's some good people working hard to keep us going for not a lot of money who don't deserve the grief they get.

That's what I meant by fracture. I imagine the club had numerous databases many of dubious origin. I suspect many e-mail addresses and phone numbers simply had to be ditched.
I'll ask my best mate in the whole world ever if there is somewhere we could submit all our updated info too if of course, you want to.

I don't think you get anything with a standard season ticket other than saving money in comparison to paying in to each game. There is also the warm glow you achieve by giving the club a lump sum up front and thereby improving it's chance of continuing and improving.
If you take the platinum option by adding the purchase of a shirt you get some bits (key ring type stuff I guess) and a line in the club lottery for a year.
