Although I lost interest of the offending thread some time ago, I agree in some ways with miro.
I think the thread should have been left open, and allowed to die a natural death. If no one replied to his comments, he would have just been taking to himself. There is a serious threat i in today’s society of censorship, just looking at the Labour Party wanting to shut down media sites containing the opinions of people who disagree with vaccination. Why are some people afraid of a free debate? We are sensible people with different opinions, what’s wrong with that.

I've kept the thread open for 99 pages so I'm hardly censoring the conversation.
I've also explained that this kind of thread should really be in the Sin Bin forum where similar non rugby related threads are hosted and are moderated seperately which some people may prefer.
I've also explained that no one on the thread has been banned from posting

Lastly, I have explained that there is nothing stopping someone creating another thread if they have something to discuss. The covid thread is just not clear any more and is going round in circles and is starting to get fractious.

Lighten up, I was just pointing out that there was little connection between forum moderation and those who run the club.

I stand by that, you’ve read way more into my post than is actually there.

The head of the front page to this Forum has three moderators listed viz kinleycat, wildthing and PopTart.
It would appear that Pop Tart is the soul survivor of this trio. Does he believe it is democratic to carry out the moderator function alone? or would the Forum benefit by additional moderators?
