| If anyone has any doubts todays results should sober the mind. All the other teams are fighting for their life's while we are in a downward spiral looking into the abyss. I know it's the players faults you can tell me that till your blue in the face but the only way we survived for so long in SL is by having a policy of not suffering fools gladly. What other way are we to turn our performances around it's just not going to happen Chester isn't going to do any radical changes.
Mcnally, Smith, Webster and Agar all left at around this point in the season and we stayed up I'm not saying it'll work this time but it certainly won't work if he stays. I know it's brutal on Chester whose done such a good job till recently but the clubs survival is bigger than him. Sorry Chris I don't see any other way.

| I don't think Chester should go, however I do think we need to bring in a defence coach immediately. Is it little wonder that our best and most exciting season in my more than 30 years of following the club was the Chester/Kear combination.

| It's too late now to change the coach, a month ago he should have gone or walked, why can't he coach defence he played back row and worked at and with some of the best clubs and coaching staff.

Im not sure what’s best.
We need confidence from somewhere. I’m not sure Chester saying “I don’t seem to know anything about defence anymore, we’re bringing in this dude to sort it out” would achieve that.

And where is the money coming from to pay Chester off then pay for a new coach to come in

Yes what you have said is only what others have said numerous times this season. However so far it hasn't,t worked.
Could it be because they do not have the guidance and leadership to give any direction. We have plenty of triers but that's no good if we are not a team.
I think Michael Carter has got his head in lala land, his loyalty to Chester and others at the club is admirable but highly likely to ruin the club at the same time. Please act now Mr Carter before it's too late.
However if you do decide to act, give the new bloke you bring in a fighting chance and get him a decent head of conditioning while you are at it.

| Elephant in the room? Who exactly are we looking to entice? John Kear is employed. Demeteiou understandably wouldn't touch us with a barge pole. Chester goes you end up with Dickens or Gilmour.

| For the last few years we've selected a captain who's not vocal enough.
When we eventually stay up, I think this is where Westerman could come into play.

Anybody within reason the the current trajectory needs changing. The status quo will see us relegated with 2 games to go just have a look at fixtures and the permutations that exist. The coach has lost the dressing room any new face should get uptick in performance. Somebody whose willing to drop Brough and focus on defensive drills IMO. When Mcnally and Agar went the assistants too over and got a lift in performances.

Not really but I would be ecstatic compared to the current set up.

Well Dickens has had a shot, against Wire and Hull I believe, with two losses to his name. Not the kind of short term bounce we need.

If we do survive, the whole back room needs changing all been here too long for mine. I would be looking to sign London’s conditioner, they look miles fitter than our players do
