Both great players who is like to be involved in my club but not sure that is the long term solution.

Saying that I can see a short term boost so well have to be on our game.

Looks like a characteristically cheap option from Hetherington; I can't imagine many Leeds fans being too thrilled with Lowes as Head Coach - he'll make Uncle Bri seem like the personification of wit and repartee.

Will Sinfield be linked up to the ref???? He's not going to be too effective if he can't share his 'opinions' with the whistle blower!

I wonder if we'll get the Lowes' tantrum again if we beat them and send them in to the middle 8s.
I'm not sure he's the guy to handle pressure games.

I wonder where we would be if Ted had appointed Lowes all them years ago like he wanted to instead of Kear?

I've never being able to work out if I felt sorry for lowes after the dug out scenario or disliked him even more lol

One thing is for sure, lowes isn't the normal leeds coach material I'd expect unless he's come on in leaps and bounds since his diar coaching of wire

G H doesn't get much wrong but the last 2 decisions hes made will come back to bite his bum big style.

If Sinfield is director of rugby, that suggests that he is more knowledgeable, but he has no coaching experience, whereas at least Lowes does.

Lowes might instil enough fire to get to get them to the end of the year, but director of rugby makes it sound like more long term.

Leeds rugby are about to make the same mistake Leeds United did in the eighties: assume that appointing stars from the glory years as manager was enough.

It might give them a short term boost but you cannot run a professional sports club on sentiment.

I don’t think this will do anything at all other than create a bit of press. The partnership of Kear and Chester had a well seasoned coach guiding a young hungry coach to some sort of success after some promising seasons prior.

This partnership has a director of rugby who granted had a brilliant playing career, brings no coaching experience and linking up with a medeocre coach in Lowes.
