| I may be miss reading the story but it appears not made the 19 for Denver, replaced by Makinson who as been added alongside Hall and McGilvrey (probably spelt wrong).
I have no problem with the Makinson addition but not retaining Hall.

| Agreed. Ridiculous decision by a man who should be nowhere near our international set up.

Hall I can get to some degree although he hasn’t got many years left. But mcgillivray? Hasn’t been that great this year at all. Thinking he’s got the nod purely down to his last England tour form. Shame for Johnstone but he can use it as motivation to show some good form over summer.

| I don't really have a problem with this.
He's bound to stick with the guys who played in the world cup. Both wingers were excellent.
Makinson has been good this tear for the top team.
Sts fans would have had a right to be upset if not chosen.
TJ will get his chance.

| It’s an odd one this, as on current form TJ probably isn’t isn’t playing well enough imho - however neither are Hall or McGilvray so the go with what you know bit simply doesn’t hold water for me.
This however is nothing more than an exhibition game in which case it beggars belief that you wouldn’t at least give a young gun a run out.
Sadly this is what you will get with Bennett, he’s past it and he has no real understanding of the British game.
He will pick on reputation because that’s all he has and that’s why he’ll run a steady ship but we’ll never win owt.

| No doubt the likes of Makinson, Hall and McGillvary were rubbing their hands whilst Tom was being left out of our team and thus being removed from the shop window.

| Really disappointing for TJ if he doesn't make it. Hope he can push on and get in for for the autumn series. Chester has been tough on him this year and hopefully that bears fruit for the end of the season.
From things said by Mr Carter regarding MCB last week I took it the club had an indication that TJ was on his way to Denver

| Cream always comes to the top and TJ will be back with a vengeance!
The England team selection has puzzled me for longer than I care to remember so this is no surprise.
How some of the players get near the squad is a mystery to me. One of them I refer to is O'loughlin.

Anyway, where have you read this? I can't find any details.

Out of interest who else would you have played at loose forward other than SOL? Think it's true he is passed his best now but he was the best option for a few years. I'd play Sam Burgess there now, possibly from the domestic based players Milner might get a look in

| A few years ago NZ played Isaac John (remember him) in the 2014 Anzac Test despite only filling in for his club when Soward and Wallace were injured. If they were able to do this and actually give him some time on the field, I don't see how it's not the perfect time for us to replicate.
Having said that repeating what a few have already said, Tom will get his chance.

If I understand you correctly then that is without doubt one of the more ridiculous statements posted on here and that's saying something!
It is NOT and NEVER should be CC 's job to push TJ's international career, end of. His job is to look after the interests of WTRLFC on the field and if he doesn't think picking TJ is right for whatever reason then so be it, that's what he's paid for, he isn't paid to be TJ's second agent.
I've championed TJ from the start and I feel he's unlucky and will always suffer from 'shirt syndrome' but again that is not Chester's problem or his fault.
If I've misunderstood your post then I apologise.

| If he doesn't make it into the England squad for this game, I really don't think he'll ever pull on an England shirt as long as he wears a Wakefield one. His form this season has been above Makinson, McGillvary, and Hall. He's made fewer errors, given away less penalties, missed fewer tackles, made a greater average gain and scored more tries
