I know how frustrating the whole stadium situation continues to be for all fans of Wakefield Trinity. I just want to assure you that the Trustees of the Wakefield & District Community Trust are as committed as ever to ensuring that Yorkcourt & WMDC deliver what was promised to the the citizens of Wakefield, in return for the granting of planning permission on 250 acres of greenbelt land five years ago.
If anyone is interested at viewing the reserved matters application, it can be found here - rlhttps://planning.wakefield.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab
At long last though, it does look like there will be an opportunity for you guys to help and do your bit in respect of the above application to ensure that, this time, it delivers a stadium by 2020. We would though kindly ask you all to just hang fire on making any comments on the above application just yet! We are going to be taking some legal soundings this week on the points we would like the public to raise on the comments on this application and other action we would like you to take.
We would hope that by the end of this week (Friday 15th December) we will have some clear guidance on how you can help, so please just bear with us.
The Trustees would like to thank you all for your support and continued patience. All we all want is what we were all promised, 7 long years ago... nothing more and nothing less.

| I couldn't get into the link, will try again shortly.
I wont make any comments IA, and have made very few comments regarding the stadium recently. as it is all up in the air, and no offence to anybody on here, but there isn't many, I wouldn't think, that know the full ins and outs, and a lot of comments made so far, is just speculation and viewpoints.
I do fully believe in MC, and the team, to do what is best for the clubs interest and its future

| This link might take you straight to the PDF file of the proposed site plan. This is the drawing that is most worth looking at, the rest is mainly elevations and landscaping drawings - rlhttps://cominoweb.wakefield.gov.uk/Planning/StreamDocPage/obj.pdf?DocNo
Edit - The link above straight to the PDF does appear to work but it is a big file, so it might take a while to download.
I think in order to get to the now edited link in my original post, you might need to clear the cache of the page held on your computer.

Im not sure but I think those plans refer to the part of the development they want to do next i.e. it's not the plan for the entire site. I may be wrong but that's how I read it.

| 111,699 Sq Metres across those developments - More than enough to trigger the stadium build, but only once they actually start building/occupying if I understand the conditions correctly.
So Yorkcourt can apply for Planning and that is then valid for 5 years meaning they can still sit back on their 'arris and wait us out, UNLESS the planning authority insist on a new s106 as part of this application.
Over to you WMDC - now is the chance to prove that all that talk of not being able to enforce it, and the conservatives accepting a rubbish s106 was not just bluster. Mr Box's Labour council now have the ability to deliver the "perfect" agreement that they gave to Cas' if they really want to!!

| A guy from Northstanders on Facebook noticed that the master landscaping plan refers to the stadium and the stadium pitch and training pitches are shown!

| Never realised the extra facilities were in the fields at the bottom of Moorhouse. Also If/when this gets built the stadium is going to have a permanent shadow over it from the Newcold, bit different from the original plans but I suppose it's a small price to pay if this finally happens.

Unless we change to playing in the morning, the site will be in full sun from about 11am, and the training fields should be in the sun all day (depending on treecover etc)
