I know this is going to be unpopular with certain posters and i am not saying I don't agree with most of the comments on here about councillor Box Yorkcourt and Sir Rodney Walker but I think it is time we let the legal case take its course as it may prejudice the case with some of the accusations made on this forum which even if true are very difficult to prove,. MC obviously thinks he has a good case and if he wants financial support or otherwise he will no doubt ask for it so why not give it a rest a start discussing rugby league again

If they hadn't done anything wrong, there would be no need for anyone to pass comment, we could be discussing the new ground at newmarket.
There is no doubt that "dark forces" have been at work, right from day one.
Therefore, I think you will find that "they" will remain a fair target, sorry.

I have my own issues with the council at the moment, away from rugby league, though I don't want to go in too much detail on here.

Like previously stated, if they had done what they had promised, there would be no need for this.

They deserve the bad publicity, and all that is coming to them.

I fully support Michael and Chris on fighting this, and any other member of the public who have issues with the council, who are fighting them.

If you don't like it don't read it - nobody requires your say so to express an opinion.

It's not a matter of me not liking it. If you ready my post you will see I have agreed with most of it it's just that if you throw around allegations which cannot be sustained in court you just weaken the case. Remember Judges are not supposed to be on anyone side they look for evidence. Just saying "person A is corrupt" does nothing to help. A judge will take that as evidence of a personal grievance rather than evidence that the stadium should be built as promised

On one angle I can see where you coming from but the club has now been cornered and anyone from the outside can see their agenda when they hear the full story,

Personally I think we missed a massive chance of getting the publicity at a time when the council made a statement and got theirs in first, we had two games on sky where our position could of been put forward I would of use that opportunity but didn't know the circumstances at that time, that photo of them all stood together on the step smiling really grates me, you have to feel for Micheal and Chris

The simple issue here is IF the Wakefield fans and management stay quiet on this, what happens, rock all.
I'm happy to make as much noise as required, wherever it is needed to be made, right up until Trinity are playing in the Community Stadium.

I understand the sentiment of the OP but to be honest that ship has sailed.

I don't claim to represent the 3000 to 4000 Trinity supporters but I do know that the handful of people on this forum are a tiny minority. If you want to make some noise about the situation this forum will not be the best place. It does seem to me that if you don't agree with certain regular posters on here you are in their opinion either thick, mentally deranged or not a true supporter. Personally I have always thought Newmarket is a big mistake but if it's are only chance of playing in Wakefield I will be there if it ever gets built.
