| Says in the Express we are negotiating a new deal. Surely we can do better said after the first 3 games not done anything and that's still the case doesn't take line on in play kicks rubbish waste of money. Would pay someone half he's on and give miller a better deal miller is cracking . Would take a tricky Championship half back over Williams. Maybe harsh but shown me nothing so far that is worthy of a new contract

| Williams has a poor kicking game - Miller doesn't have one.

Williams will come good once the sun starts to shine and the grounds harden up and he gets more game time with his new team mates. Give the bloke a chance, how many games has he played so far, not enough to bed in and show his worth.

It really depends on if you want to stay at this level and consolidate your top 8 status (and the position on the new stadium) over the next 12 months or if you want to move up to the next level. If its the second scenario you seriously have to aim higher than Williams and Milky.

| I am happy with both players Williams will take a year to settle in Milky can be unpredictable thats double edged in as much what he does can look poor or excellent. I see the pessimists are back out after Easter

| Anyone remember Issac John and how much stick he got on here ?
It can take a while for players to settle and for halves to work out how their team plays.
I dont think he will ever be the next Wally Lewis but, with the shortage of good half backs, he will do ok for Trinity, maybe let someone else take the conversions though ?

| Williams played well in the NRL needs time the big problem is Miller Finn Sio and Wood all excellent Championship players and I do rate Wood as a squad man but without doubt we are lacking a quality 9 and a halfback

The debate about Milky goes on and on, he's still relatively young and can be hit and miss but who would we replace him with and who knows what he's on?
Milky may represent good value for the player he is?
Williams came with hype and that he was only here because he got squeezed out at Canberra and was using us as a stop gap until he went back to the NRL.
The good thing about Williams, is that on current form, he won't be going back to the NRL!
If we can get him on a longer deal, l'm happy.
Let's not forget that Ben Roberts and Junior Moors didn't hit the ground running and only after a season over here did they find their feet.

| Miller frustrates the hell out of me but I wouldn't want to lose him. He's been an individual match winner on quite a few occasions. Love watching that little statistics countdown they have on the RFL Dacia Magic Weekend promo.

Roberts seemed to pick up once the weather warmed up and he admitted that the cold was hard for him.
You're correct about moors but Powell was using him differently. He actually dropped him from the squad but brought him back in playing in his current role where he has been so successful.

| He has now played half a season and so far I havn't seen a good kicking game. I havn't seen that much leadership or game organisation. His passing game is nothing special and he doesn't have any pace and he is not an elusive runner.
I don't think he would get a start in any other SL side

| Williams does not have any more time to settle in. We are halfway through the season and I believe he has had enough time to get a grip. How long does he need? Until we are in the Championship?

| Sorry to say that williams just isn't making the grade for me.
Had really hoped he was going to take over from Finn this year, unfortunatly for some reason just like Isaac johns he isn't playing well in our team.
As soon as Finn went to hooker and williams came on we lost all our attack and kicking game.
I think it's time to side line him.
For me jowitt earned his place back and so I'd rather see grix as interchange hooker, Finn just isn't quick enough there yet he marshells us well at half back.
We should have finished them off but instead relied on defensive kicks that didn't keep them in there 10.

| Cannot believe how much stick miller gets he beats the first man every time he's miles better than Williams. Williams looks like he couldn't out pace my gran so don't get this dry weather talk. Miller is elusive and the brains with Finn works well. I'd use Williams money for a hooker

| Atkins is a strong lad,but if jowitt had hit him hard he would have knocked him of balance ive said it before the lads support play and ability to catch the high ball is good, but his tackling and positional play leaves a lot to be desired ,ok hes a young kid but in super league if you want to make a specialist position your own youve got to get it right and tackling if your a fullback is number one
