| What was the first Trinity game you attended? Mine was against the touring Aussies in (I think) 1974, a midweek game, I seem to remember a player called Schubert, long blonde hair.

| I don't actually remember the first game as such, but I if I recall correctly, it was in the 1979-80 season.
I did go to just about every home game, and some of the away games in the 1980-81 season, a memorable game during this season was a 40 points plus drubbing of Leeds. It was 3 points for a try then.

First home game of the 1988/89 season against Wigan which we won against all the odds.
Gave me a false sense of expectation which took a while to shake off.

| How embarrassingly young you all are. Lets just say Neil Fox was playing in the 1st game I saw which gives a nice wide scope.
In the backs not the pack!

| Cannot remember first game, and unfortunately my father not here to ask.
We lived near Kirkgate station in the 50's and I can remember walking with the crowds to Belle Vue and watching players such as Don Froggett, Eric Cooper, and then of course Big Neil debued mid fifties.If I remember correctly he was 17.

| First game I remember was against Leeds in about 74/75.
I remember it because I'd heard of Leeds United and so said I wanted Leeds to win. My father and older brother didn't bring me for a few weeks after that.
It would have been 77/78 by the time I actually knew what was going on.
That period set my expectations dangerously high for entertainment in later years.

26th December 1979 we won away at Cas 26-13.
26th December 1980 we lost at home to Cas 8-23. Does this help?

| The first game I ever attendant was due more to the pubs shutting on a Sunday afternoon you could get a beer under the old stand after and during the game so I was carted along from under my mums feet for a few hrs then back home just before opening time.
I remember the smell of wintergreen was over powering Fletcher probably got stretchered off he did in those days and we played Salford who wore a red shirt with a big S on it for a badge in case they forgot they had a huge coloured forward called Colin Dixon and the rest is history

This superb website confirms;
I can't find a game against the Aussies in '74, hope I haven't made it up.
