At risk of sounding like a HKR fan, it's coming to something if a defender is punished for a freak injury that happens in an otherwise innocuous tackle.

What was Walton dangerous lift in the tackle like? Bateman got off with a caution v fc, said after next player who does a spear type tackle will get a ban! Rfl tend to see who the player is before deciding the punishment these days

Absolutely appalling decision by the panel. I feel sorry for Swift getting injured badly but there was nothing in that tackle to warrant a ban of any sort.

Yes, I think we should really, but bearing mind who we are would we get anywhere.

To me, it is the same argument, as with the Shenton tackle. Had Swift have not been injured, would anyone have picked anything up.

I think on the Hull KR facebook page, they had a petition on there regarding Boudebza, and his punishment

Same here can,t see what he has done to deserve this. I we carry on like this I can see a situation where leg tackling will be forced out of our game

The Walton one could have gone either way, but I've seen worse let go. The Arona one is seriously baffling though - It's a one on one tackle round the waist, and Swift had his leg unfortunately placed underneath Arona's body as he was falling to the ground. Not like it was a late attack to the legs or a third man in, pretty ridiculous!
