| The guy certainly needs a mention when you look at his stats.
In a bottom level team who lost their first two games
Tackles 83
Third best in whole league with John Bateman and Liam Farrel the only ones above him (who don't take a rest)
Best at Wakefield a clear 22 above anyone else!
Missed tackles 7
Giving him a 92% success rate
Carries 37
Best at Wakefield 6 more than BJB and 10 more than Arona who is next best forward
Third best in the whole league just behind Zak Hardaker and John Bateman
Meters gained - 210
Only behind Bill Tupou in metres and the backs should always make more with kick returns - the others should be ashamed.
Average gain 5.68 meters
Actually our third best forward behind Ashurst (who runs wider) and surprisingly Scruton.
Tackle busts 3
Ashurst has 3 but that stat is going to be hard in a team like ours.
This does come as a small costs though
Errors - 5
Highest at Wakefield though only by 1
Penalties conceded - 3
Joint highest at Wakefield with Kirmond, rest are 1 behind.

| The stand out player in all the games he's played, looking forward to seeing more direct running from England, Simon, Annakin and Arona.

| he got you on the front foot a few times yesterday.
When you got a roll on it was from an England run in the 2nd or 3rd tackle

| It tells a tale when you look at the Cas game stats.
Only 3 of their forwards made more than 20 tackles.
Only 1 of our forwards (including subs made less than 20 tackles.
England made 48 tackles and missed 4
Tupou made 33 from the bench and didn't miss any.
5 forwards made more than 30 tackles
There was no lack of effort from the forwards, they just didn't have enough ball and just had to tackle all day.....eventually running out of steam.
Ben Roberts made 27 tackles. We were clearly trying to run at him. Didn't work I guess.

Actually Scruton only did 17 tackles and missed 3. With 4 carries. Clearly wasn't on for as long as England but even so.
However Anderson made 34 only missing 2. Next best after England. He doesn't deserve your criticism. Making 8 carries

| The stats don't lie and need to be carefully looked at and in terms of the pack will hopefully lead to a couple of fresh faces for Hull KR....

| Poor old Scruton was feeling it yesterday, he hasn't been himself this year. We need him to step it up. Don't think it's an attitude problem, he just looked knackered in both games. Hope he's ok.

| He was the same last year. I mentioned this multiple times only to be shot down. The guy isn't what he used to be. It's sad but that is simply what I see when I go to watch (every home game and a handful of away games btw).
I'm really looking forward to Simon, Annakin, England, Moore being in the same pack. Their returns can't come quick enough. I don't understand what Brian Smith doesn't see in Annakin. He is better than what has been playing.

Just out of casual interest, how did the club's potential saviour go against Dewsbury reserves?

| He went very well before injury, the stand out player was Hall. Of most concern was that the Wakefield team contained 10 / 11 full time pro players, they were playing against a semi pro teams reserves ie part time reserves and we only just managed to sneak a win. Makes you wonder about the quality of our SL full time players. Maybe 5 or 6 of those players should have been sacrificed in order to employ the services of one quality half back.

Disagree with you there Belly,Simon for me.Can't judge too much from the game, considering most haven't had much game time some coming back from injury and a mixture of young 19s thrown in around your full time players.

| I have been impressed by England, he has been one of the few bright spots so far. He semi to make metres and is looking to offload, (it would be nice if we could back him up). He tackles well but the most impressive thing is the big minutes he has been playing.

It certainly wouldn't hurt if we found another like him.
