I think it's a bit of a strange one. I would have thought plenty of cover in both the centre and second row.
Must admit I would have preferred a half back.

Cant see the desperation in wanting to sign another half back.
More than likely, if we did sign another one, he wouldnt get much game time as back up and no one is going to come as back up hb.
Got Craig Hall and at a push Anthony Tupou to fill the gap.

Anthony Tupou at halfback?! Could play him at fullback at a push too along with Anderson and England...
What about Annakin? Why not play him in the halves. Could go well. Remember he's not always been the battering ram we see today. Fast track him through the centres (as per Vastman's suggestion) and on the road to becoming our new pocket pivot! Backup half conundrum no more. Problem solved.

I love it when someone jumps on an idea, like its the only option we have.
I'm sure Anthony Tupou would do a job if it came to it at HB, much like O'Loughlin at Wigan and Wilkin at Saints.
Hopefully Finn and Miller will stay injury free and it never has to happen but as I pointed out, Hall would be before Tupou if it came to it. |

He hasn't been a Salford player for quite some time as he joined London Broncos part season and left under a cloud well I think he was shown the door. |
