Been impressed with him during his time with us,no nonsense and does the basics right, not the build of a modern day SL prop, but looks can and are deceiving.Hoping for a good up and coming season from him.

| I think he was only signed until end of last season. I hope we extend him.

| Can't see the problem with his body shape.
As long as he makes his yards and tackles (which he does) he can look like Jabba the Hut for me.

| Contracted til the end of the season, a player with ability, let down by injuries.
Not selected much by BS but a player in Mullally who had a contract for next season selected more.
Who would put it in?

Mullally did. Next question.

I don't quite get the point you're trying to make here, Walker was good but had a propensity to go through nightmare periods where he missed tackles and gave penalties away.
Mullally, despite having a big Leeds Rhinos contract at stake, put in some of the best prop forward performances I've seen in a Trinity shirt for years.
We couldn't afford to be sentimental, we had to put our best available team on the field and as whole hearted as Walker is he missed out to better players.

The point I'm making is that, when he came to us he was rumoured not to be in the best shape.
He has til the end of the season to prove his worth and earn another contract.
Walker has come from a really good environment.
Mulally on the other hand had a contract for next year.
Can't see what is difficult in understanding that?

You seem to be suggesting that because Walker was playing for a contract we should have selected him ahead of Mullally who was already sorted for next year.
Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious and being a bit dense.

No I'm not saying that Walker should have been selected over Mullally, just because he was playing for a contract.
Obviously Mullally has had the right attitude and application to earn his selection before Walker.
There must be something missing in Walkers motivation to earn his next contract?
That is the point.
