| No personal pride and no spine. As soon as the going gets tough, this lot just get going. They are the most pathetic bunch of professionals I've had the displeasure of seeing in the wakey shirt.
We'd conceded one try after twenty minutes. We've conceded thirteen after 63 minutes.
Hearts the size of a pea.

| Thankfully I chose a family BBQ over watching that shower. Lovely weather, nice food, cold beers.
When they start to put some effort in I will go back, until then I'm out.

| I just don't see that at all.
Some are not very good but that's different.
Godinet was excellent today.
Johnstone probably even better
Owen was pretty good before being taken off, I assume for throwing himself at a ball to stop a try with boots flying on.
Washbrook was his usual self
Dan Smith was very good in the first half too.
There were lots of good things on show and a lot if effort.
Silly mistakes like Smith's pass or Hall just dropping the ball after others had done the hard work to open the defence.
Plenty to put right unfortunately but it was not all rubbish and a lot of those players worked their off.

| Pt I admire your optimism but it is difficult to give any plaudits to a team almost full of people who give up when the going gets tough. With a few exceptions what is being produced by so called professional rl players is nothing short of disgraceful

| But they didn't give up. They have done in other games but they didn't today.

If they didn't give up and managed to concede about 36 points in a twenty minute period then I am even more worried. That would just mean they're pure hoop.

Sorry pt they gave up in that 20 mins at start of second half. I think the latter stages of the game were as much to do with leeds putting the cue on the rack as what we did

You can't have it both ways. If you say they gave in when they conceded points then they must have been trying when they scored them.

| Despite enduring yet more pain, I actually thought quite a lot of the players were hurting too. That was a good sign for me as in several games this season too many of them have looked like it didn't matter to them.
We got 55 minutes of a performance today - an improvement on the 30 minutes against Cas and the 40 against Widnes.
Good news - we can play.
Bad news - we need to do it a lot more often and defend the bits in between better.

| All the very best for the rest of the season Wakey, but after that performance today Brian Smith got his work cut out...

| This team major problem is simple, attitude. Quite honestly it stinks right now. All they want to do is play the fancy rugby with the ball in hand but can't be bothered with the hard word, making the hard yards and the tackles. They are just not willing to get involved in the grind. The scoreline flattered us in the end thanks to Leeds putting the cue on the with ten to go when they were a mile in front but anyone with even half a brain can see through that final margin today. They need a rocket up their backsides in the hope that it makes them realise that what they do is a privilage. Change the attitude and we have a chance. Carry on and we will be gone. Good luck Mr Smith.

| Just what happened to Tim Smith when he took the ball with no-one in front of him? He was like a rabbit caught in a car's headlamps. Perhaps it meant him having to break out into a run, because he had a panic attack and just threw the ball anywhere. Brian Smith definitely has a job on.
My three men of the match today were: 1) Pita Godinet 2) Young Johnston and 3) Dan Smith

| There's maybe half a dozen in this squad that can be classed as decent players, the rest are just not good enough. Sorry if that shatters a few peoples illusions as to whether we will stay up because we are where we are because we are just rubbish. We are where we are for that reason. Forget fitness, forget attitude and although yes they maybe could be better, it is a lack of ability that is the main issue.

Agreed. First half the defensive line where moving up and putting Leeds under pressure, both Riley and Johnstone (who I thought was excellent) stayed on their wing to prevent walk in scores. Starved of possession for the first 20 -25 minutes of the second half and the same old issues reared their head and the flood gates opened. Some positives to take from the match but a huge amount to work on. An 80 minute performance wouldn't go amiss.
It was great to see what an effective six can do when given the opportunity. If nothing other the signing of Howath has given us Godinet back.
