As much as I enjoyed seeing the highlights from our game! I can't help but feel like SLS needs a complete overhaul - from the cheesy opening sequence to the last match highlights, the presenter, a different format of questioning and answering as the two pundits who join in don't really debate each match in length and detail. Yes Phil Clarke looks at the stats of each match on Sky, but he speaks complete and utter turd most of the time and points out the most useless statistic and makes a big deal of it!

I like Tanya Arnold on SLS but I agree it is very BBC and a bit stiff.

Clarkey I actually like his stats but this year they are clearly prerecording his summary and it sounds like he is reading off a script rather than talking through the stats

Why can't someone produce a decent magazine show for RL I wonder? They have 'The Footy Show' in Aus which does a good job of mixing RL news with game analysis and humour; it's a touch laddish for my tastes, but I guess that's the unsophisticated Aussie sense of humour. At least it's well made and has different players in, and a range of features and such.

We have the very dry SLS, which is on at totally random times but always too late to watch when it's actually on; the very dull Boots N All with the usual goons on parade; that god-awful abomination made in someone's front room in Leeds; and the latest addition - another dull '3 blokes talking' affair, which is enough to send you off to the land of nod.

Despite an apparent wide range of options, we're poorly served in terms of tv output outside of matches; I guess if anyone could solve it, it would be Sky, but they seem quite happy to keep serving up the same dull tripe with the same dull people year after year.

I am really struggling with the Sky production this season after 2 weeks, Stevo talks absolute nonsense most of the time, that's when he isn't shouting.
Paul Cullen seems to be off radar which is good but Stuart Cummins musts be the dullest man on the planet.
Why there is so much focus on referees and looking for any potential dispute to trash a try is weird. I must say I don't mind Clarky as he seems to have a soft spot for us.

If you missed last weeks show, it looks like Boots an All have lost their studio as well, presumably it was put out live as against recorded, I say recorded in as much as at least Hemmings was there with Carney I think it was, where on Monday night's show it was canned if that's the right meaning, but the show was put out from the canteen, are they cost cutting or losing interest maybe

Sky is a by far and away the biggest offender for me. How Eddie and Stevo have kept their job this long astounds me! Complete and utter drivel littered with the wrong names or even complaining about perfectly fine decisions for hours on end.

I agree that the football deal was disgusting - so much money to screen the dullest game in the world. That said RL could be viewed by some of the suits in Sky as a regional game (with some justification) screened to a national audience. I wouldn't slag Sky off too much - without them they game would be in a terrible state. They are also putting money into an initiative to get more people playing and ultimately watching the game. Viva Sky Sports - the saviour of Rugby League.

It's great that sky sports are trying to get more people playing our game, they could have spent that billion pounds more wisely though !!

Don't think this will go down well but I absolutely love Rugby Am. Think its hilarious and the banter amongst the players is brilliant.

Usually yeah. Was pretty disappointed that they showed as little as poss of your game. No excuses really considering they show 1 less game then previous years!

There is a good show on Leeds TV on freeview bit patchy but one thing shines through the love of the game.
