UP THE TRIN !!!!:34236.jpg |

| Would have him over Owen like a shot. The difference sunday one gruber kick our winger couldn't be bother chasing so Tim Smith gave him a huge telling off 'Richard Richard what are you playing at' our good attitude on loan winger just shrugged his shoulders. Caro chased the a gruber down which was far harder to get than lazy bones grubber and he went 70 metres. If we have rewarded lazyness with a 3 year deal we must be crazy. I would soon gamble on Caro for one year. Surplus to requirements at KR. I think he has potential hes only 23.

| Has Owen been confirmed? To be honest and most kr fans will say he has about 1 in 5 or 6 games. Would be tempted to Give Luke George a short contract to see How he goes. If Murphy is ooc as so.e said would be making a move for him too.

| Caro is quick - and that's about it; we made him look world class by giving him plenty of opportunities to run in open field, but that's about all he's got.

| Yes Caro is quick!
That's the one thing you cannot coach. God given.
I always supposed wingers should be quick.
The rest coaching could improve.
I'd take a chance.

| If we are going to get excited about everyone that beats one of our players on a one on one scenario, we are going to have a long list.

| Rather than looking to bring an average winger in I would hope Trinity gave an opportunity to Jonhstone to stake a claim. It's not as if the current or the prospective wingers at the club are flawless.

We're not talking about Ryan Hall here. Is Caro any better than Johnstone? How would we ever know without him getting a chance.

| I think this is a great argument for bringing back the 'A' teams rather than duel reg. it's a higher standard than the U19s and kept in house so we can develop our own. First and second teams All training together so when called upon it's not as daunting due to knowing the calls and players around you

There are plenty of wingers I'd be looking at before Caro

Think that's slightly harsh, he`s a proven try scorer. Topping Hull KR`s stats, Although that is what is expected of a winger.
I think he also has bags of potential, has the speed, size and strength just has yet to fulfill that potential. So I wouldn't say he was useless.
However I don't think he is right for us, I think his time to grasp his chance has unfortunately passed and will have to graft a championship club if he wants to be playing in SL.
I am told that Owen signed a 2 and a half year deal when he first came here. Might be a load of rubbish, but that's what I've been told.

| There are 3 possibilities' with Owen either he has or he hasn't or it's on the table waiting for him to sign, if it's the latter and he's waiting for a better offer or Cas to want him back then I don't think it's gonna happen, if he hasn't been offered one by now then imo it won't happen, but then if he has already signed for us then why the hell has it not been announced.

Interesting point and probably the difference between us (fans) and a good Coach.
He will probably tell you he doesn't need to play X,Y or Z because he already knows they have not got what it takes or slightly better, they are not yet ready.
I know what you're thinking (I think) which is why keep them. I suppose it's because they help create a team in which others may thrive even if they themselves have probably found their level - with I hope some room built in for late developers - which I think is fair so long as the player knows where they stand. At the end of the day even if you don't get past the Academy you've still done well, better than most of us that's for certain.
