Good winger. Along with Hall think that's are two first choice wingers sorted. Wouldn't have thought Owen would be offered anything.
Just now need Tim Smith signing for scrum half. It's a shame that we're possibly losing Sykes as he'd have done well at full back next year playing alongside Smith.

I think by mid season Tom Johnston will be pushing very hard for a wing spot in the 1st team which in turn could release Hall to play Stand Off or Full back with Godinet at interchange hooker |

That has made my day. I've been really impressed with Chris and glad to have him on board. I'm surprised it is only a 1 year deal. I wonder why we couldn't make it 2? Is Riley keeping his options open?

I know this wont go down well and it is only a rumour but I was told you had given Owen a 3 year deal but as I said this is only a rumour. |

I hope this rumour is wrong. It seems madness to me to give Owen a 3 year deal and Riley one. Based on last Sunday alone I wouldn't offer Owen a contract at all. |

 Think Webster has more sense than that surely.
We've got enough to cover his wing position next year. Would rather be hearing Tim Smith on a 3 year deal and retain Paul Sykes on a 1 year deal for the spare full back position. |

Good signing. This time last year this wouldn't have been believed.
Do not have any problem at all with Owen signing as well if it were to happen. I don't see what peoples problem is with him. We have had far far worse players on the wing over the years and some have become something of a folk hero!
Sykes on the other hand i wouldn't be too fussed about. Yes, he has had a half decent finish to the season, but at 35'ish his influence and good games are getting fewer and fewer over the season. Personally think it may just be time to go our separate ways.
On another note i dont think Craig Hall will be playing on the wing next year. Don't ask me where he will be, but i just dont think he has come to play on the wing.
